Chih-kuo's performance was well performed that he finished the trial 1 minute and 40 seconds. 2 seconds less than Rosa's, which is 1 minute and 42 seonds.
Many were watching, and they were in awe that Chih-kuo beat Rosa, whom was 6th of the top.

"*call* Yes... he's interesting.*"
"Sure is, I'm a bit disappointed that he used his anger though."
"Disappointed? He did it just right, he passed."
"Whatever you say, Big boss."

As Chih-kuo finishes, he would fall down from the daze, he will gain infrared sight, sonar hearing and a strong smell after that. Soon, his daze will fade and he will become a Devourer. Once he gets out of the course, he should be normal now.
"Chiko! You were amazing, you finished it in less than two minutes, most of the soldiers here can't do that." Rosa greeted and congratulated Chiko.
Right arrives along with the soldiers of the barracks. "Chiko! Chiko! Chiko!" The soldiers shouted his name gloriously. "The new guy! He was great!" "Well done newcomer!" "A minute and forty seconds? He's become the 6th!"

"You've done well lad, you too Rosa. I believe it is on the obvious that you've become an officer of the Renegade Covenant. Congratulations." Right said to Chih-kuo.
"Hehe, have to be honest. The second you drank the water, your inner instincts were released, you've already become a Devourer. This trial you were faced wasn't needed to become a Devourer, it was to make you a part of the brotherhood within the Covenant. Judging through your course, it is enough to make you a 1st Class Gunman, or 7th Class Hitman."
"Congratulations Chiko! Wow, that rank's pretty high."
"Rosa, your brothe--err.. the Big Boss Left calls for you, there's a Guncrow waiting at the pad, his men are waiting." Right said to Rosa.
"Um, ok. It was nice meeting you Chiko, see you again." Rosa left.
"And there she goes. Well everyone, that concludes this evening's procedure. Drink up mateys! As I promised." Right looked at Rosa before turning to the men.
"Ahoy!" Everyone shouted. They all ran into headquarters.

"Well done lad, I was expecting something cooler, but you've caught the Big Boss Left's interest. Come, we drink before battle." Right talked to Chiko, before heading back to HQ.

Everyone at headquarters drank and enjoy the party within El Ilaliman command center. There were musics and gamblings and drinking and eating, it was like a festival, not only at HQ, but also the entire fortress. As nearby outpost soldiers also joined with their foods and drinks. Many more music were played, (El Cholesterol, La Bota, La Cucaracha, mostly hispanic musics)
After many hours, the party was almost at an end, as Big Boss Right was about to give them an operation.

"Hola comrades! Mates and laddies! We've enjoyed great today, up next will be our graveyard, are you ready!" Right shouted.
"Hooorah!" "Aye!" "Oh yaahh!!" Everyone shouted too.
"Sector Lindormr, Point Villa. A group of machines will enter our turf in coming hours. This festival ends now and return to your posts! We've drunk today, we will die tomorrow!" Right shouted.
"We've drunk today! We will die tomorrow! Hooraahh!" Everyone followed.
"Just move it already!" Right finished.

Their festivity ends. Everyone returns to their posts, and Right's forces was riding to their vehicles and returning back to their squads.

"I've received orders from the Big Boss that to care of the machine army, whom have colonized the southern region." Right said to Chiko.
Eric the Shepherd then followed the two. The garage was full of men, preparing to move out.

Then it all went into time to where; Sector Lindormr, Point Villa. Couple of hours later;

Rain started to fall on the area. If they continue, on the entrance to the mountain range, three Hyenas awaits, flying a white flag.
One of the infantries immediately spotted them so the infantries were alerted and ran onto them, aiming their weapon at them.

"Do you have anything to say?", one of the infantries replied.
"This is the recon squad of the ghost faction. We are here to talk about... negotiations." A voice in the middle Hyena speaker spoke.

She was the god of shaman... I the god of Chaos, but in truth I know we were both playing something lesser of what we truly are. From the beginning of time we simply were, from before thought could be made into a tense, we had gained consciousness. Yet already we know the roles we would play. I the Lord Of Chaos, she the Lady of Inspiration, and our opposites somewhere in the darkness that survived our sleep. We knew there were eight of us, surviving in cycle we were over come by sleep so that the other half of our octagon could rule undisturbed. but... we all secretly wanted to rule forever. Knowing that when our opposes power gathered strength it was our supremacy that was sapped, we plotted against each other. My foe the Lord Of order, her foe the Lady of Oppression, we would not attack at our enemies when they were asleep in the darkness that made them unseen... however the creatures of this realm, the Humans elves dwarfs and other sentient beings, remained awake whether we slept or not.

It was decided between us to share our power with the Humans so that they could weaken the powers of Order and Oppression, while we slept.

I gifted man with the power of Vision, so that they could see the future and in their scramble to change it they would cloud the mind of the Lord of Order with things that should have never come to pass.

She Gifted man with the magics they now use freely, casting fire and ice wind and storm, but further than this, she gave them knowledge to learn more than could be simply taught.

To who out other allies could be, other gods that share our hatred for our opposites, is simply a mystery... but with an eternity ahead I am sure we have ample time to bump into them


Everytime I return and new form has taken to the world I shaped... no this can not be merely the doing of the creatures I left in charge... forces are at work, beings such as my self who I didn't know existed. Can it be? That I am not the only god... after all this time?

A part of me wills my self to buff away this foolishness, but another, a stronger part tells me to tread into this trepid realisation with utmost caution. If there are other gods, can they destroy me.

I can no burden my mind with these worries that would pit my soul with rot, no, I must prepare. That is the only resolution that will ease my fears. When the other gods appear I will be able to reason and come to agreement with them, but if they refuse to follow my ways I must be ready to kill them. I will gather my strength now when I have the time, influence the beings of aspiration within this realm to create for me, so that I will be prepared for the coming storm

Demons! Heretics! Aliens! All must be purged! Eternity stretches out before me and all I have ever seen of this world the other gods shape, is wicked. I will have none to do with it, yet I see the creatures of this planet are gathering a power great enough to rival me... A god! I forbade them for toiling in the mortal realms, yet... I feel I must as well. In order to preserve my being, in order to prevent the gods destroying these people, I must keep them balanced.

When I sense a shift in power, I will call down my lighting and strike the opposition into
equilibrium with their victims. This will be my role as god, while the others mould and shape the creatures of this world, I will prevent them from destroying each other.

Do all these things and you will live long within the world of the gods.



I the goddess of order and he my journey man to make way the path before me.
It has always been and so it should be, that order rules chaos.
Oppression quells the wrath of the rebellion founded in inspiration.
Strict rule is paramount to the rule of a true god!
Order, control, law reinforced, these are the things that make a kingdom!
To let the conscious beings of this world do what they will, would surely bring utter destruction.
No, I alone can do what is certainly right! To control every thought, every action, until their nature becomes a habit of servitude... that is the way of a true god, to supremacy, true control.

My Enforcer of Oppression has gifted the world with sadness, depression and concern. He has insured that they will never question the laws I have placed to keep them safe.

I being a giving goddess, have given them rulers courts and the punishment of death to any who do not follow when ordered.

Yet... in my mind, my second sight, I see a future that can not be. My gift of foresight fails me. What is to pass, has been corrupted, and no this can not be the work of man alone... There are others.

Other gods live, toiling and foiling my plans to create perfect order, however they will not live for long.

A patrol squad was very close, not too close to be able to see Anorstkt but still very close regardless.
As Anorstkt moved closer, a Shadowhound could be seen stopping for awhile and snarling in anxiety...

"Oh, the hound seems to be uneasy!"

"Perhaps there are enemies nearby... stay on alert!"

The Shadowhound slowly turned his head to the direction of Anorstkt, growling......

Chih-kuo jumped into the air as he raised his fist up to the air. He screamed in excitement, "YES!! I did it! President Chiang would be very proud! Today, I crushed the Commies!"

By this time, did the daze and anger within Chih-kuo faded completely. He laid down onto the floor, sighing in relief. He lifted his head and gave a big grin to all the spectators cheering for him. "Thanks! I did it! The pride of Whampoa!"

However, Chiko wasn't really in the mood to celebrate. He still missed his homeland a lot, even worse was that he was (supposedly) not allowed to return to China. But he did have a great time enjoying the foods and drinks, his stomach needed some help and his tongue needed a great treat after a long time.

Chiko did participate a bit in the event. He sang some classical Chinese folksongs with great passion, earning many applauses and cheers from the others. Meanwhile, the curious Sixth did also ask Right about the rules and systems of the Devourer society. "How did you guys govern the Renegade's Covenant anyways? I am curious,"

'Well, talking has always been my forte', Anorstkt thought. He set the camera to thermal, but was unable to distinguish the exact number of people, but there were at least 4 humanoids and 1 hound.He strapped on his combat armor as silently as possible, and turned his handgun to silenced. He transmitted a command to the LS3 wirelessly via the controller, telling it to act as if its internal wiring damaged, and to move, seemingly by chance, near one of the closer soldiers.

Unfortunately, Anorstkt have overlooked that snarling Shadowhound just right beside him. It was all too late, the Shadowhound hopped towards Anorstkt and began its rampage, tearing him with its sharp claws and biting his clothes and fleshes with great vigor

The Triads spotted his presence. And the entire outpost was alerted!

"Caution! Intruder detected nearby! Intruder detected on (coordinates)!"
Noisy sirens were played, both to warn the fellow Obsidians and to annoy the heck out of the intruder.

The Guardsmen would rain a shower of bullets and lasers at Anorstkt while the Rocketsmen would try to blast him with mini rockets.

And of course, several Shadowhounds just popped out of nowhere, ready to tear and bite. Two squads of similar size were heading towards Anorstkt,

A sound of sniper rifles shooting can be heard.
A bullet came passing beside the Vanguard's head almost hitting him in the head. It was so fast that it created a trail of smoke made by piercing the fog.
Another four can be heard, each having intervals of 0.40 seconds. Looking closely, two bullets came out in front of the Vanguard, and the other two at Vex.

"Dammit. They're clearly not in the mood for visitors. Fall back." Vex said with an angry tone and turned around back into the mist.
After an hour or so, the two emerged from the other side.
"What do we do now? We can't possibly go back as failures can we? She said and kicked off some small rocks.

Off Topic : Hmm... you know... the definition of "Electrocute" -- to kill by electric shock?
Anyways, the Shadowhound exploded into a cloud of shadows, releasing flames of darkness that are difficult to be extinguished by water and are quick to spread. Corrosive and roasting, the dark flames could be deadly against unshielded victims.

* Respect every information that is given, received and kept.
* Follow the tasks of your higher officers.
* If you ever get caught and tried to be interrogated, then kill yourself.
"It's quite bloody I tell you."

For some reasons, Chiko did not have a good feeling. His heart sank down once again, sweating and trembling as he felt uneasy... and homesick.

"The Covenant is nothing to worry about. Those rules were actually made to scare out the newcomers if they don't have the wits, quite clever of my brother. The Covenant doesn't need untrustworthy, it needs comrades. Remember, only the strong survives in Alastorn, that means those that are alive will live. We treat each other as family.

"What?" Chiko was interested, "What bastards? The Soviet Commies?"

Suddenly, the other two Hyenas rammed the nearby machine infantries that surrounded them from opposite directions. Any bullet shots or laser shots fired at them would not let them stop from their reckless ramming, albeit damaged. Then finally they exploded, wiping anyone or anything nearby.
The middle escaping Hyena goes to throttle and moves away from the machine army as fast as it could back to the mountain range. But not yet arrived and may be able to catched up.

*Ahem, Edge45 here, so these guys are going to infiltrate some outpost right? Oh, that's what the script says. Alright, northwest, I guess they're heading to Sector Xhin, or the Graveyard, entrance is Point Siente.*

These guys would have to pass a mountain before arriving at a misty valley plain.
Filled with junks and scraps much similar to the Boneyard. There, though their locations are hidden, 7 patrols are roaming around silently, each have a variety of numbers, but consists mostly of 2 Gunmen and 2 Shepherds. One of these patrols are the main, compromised of 4 Gunmen and 3 medium Shepherds. Some of these patrols are hidden in foxholes camouflaged in the ground.
These patrols have intense communication, so taking them out one by one would be very bad. Plus, the Shepherds are very aware when one of their fellow Shepherds dies or senses movements.
Good news is, none of them can sense ghosts such as Shades. Well, if they're leaving cold trails, that's not going to be good. (I hear these patrols have vacuums.)

"The one is escaping. Chase it down!", the infantry replied.
"Just forget it! We're slow enough to catch them but we can still see it in our satelite. Let's go back to our outpost and remanufacture our troops again.", the other infantry responded.

The troops returned back to their outpost, recreating the loss units. Like they said, they're tracking the Hyena's position through their satelite. They keep an eye on it until there's something happen to it.

The jet finally landed into Metal's coordination. Metal quickly ran to the royal guard saying,

She began crying and hugged Metal's arm tightly. She looked terrified and scared for some reason.
"E-Emma?! Are you feeling alright?", Metal questioned worriedly.
"I-Is it t-true? Is it true that y-you killed those innocent lives?", Emeraldia responded.

Metal sighed and continued to comfort her while saying,
"They're not innocent. They're evil.. They tend to lie their prey about themselves. They told you the bluff, I told you the fact. Why are you crying suddenly?"
"T-They force me to work with t-them.. T-They did s-something in my hand..", Emeraldia responded anxiously.
"Which one? Can you show me your hand that they did.", Metal asked.

Emeraldia showed her hand to Metal and he carefully analyzing her hand.
According to his visual, he saw what it appears to be a darkness spell on her hand.

"They did it huh.. It's okay Emma. I'm here.. They're not going to hurt you as long as I'm here with you..", Metal replied softly.
Metal softly hugged Emeraldia to calm her down.
"T-Thank you M-Metal.. What am I g-gonna do now?", Emeraldia questioned anxiously.

Then from the right mountain on the entrance to the mountain range, there was an individual on a plateau ground, it carried some sort of flashlight, made a quick flash of light then stopped then followed by another flash with a longer interval, another quick flash, then followed by two flash with longer interval and then made a stop, before making lastly a quick flash.
The individual stops, but then makes two quick flashes followed by another with longer interval, the individual stopped, before making another flash, followed by two with longer intervals, and ended with a quick one.
That individual runs into a cave then after.

The Hyena made an intersection to the mountain from the right. It passed through a rocky path and into a cave of the mountain.
After some time of waiting, it came out of the cave and went back to where it once made negotiations with the machine army. It waits there to scout if the machines may come back.

Nevertheless they would eventually get back to the Harkdragon Citadel. After greeting the Dragonqueen and having a talk, Banehallow would bring Vex back to a secret house, where some other Voidghosts and Triads live.

"Now, to plan our next step of great revolution, Proselyte Patriot. We will need make the war between the Renegade's Covenant and the Obsidian Kongsi as big as possible. Then we will--"
"Deowrig!" one of Banehallow's Triad shouted, before the green ghost responded with an evil "Yes?"
"Little Boy has managed to convince his beloved Queen to lock us out of the Kongsi's weapons protocol!"
"Dammit." the ghost cursed, before facing Vex and continued, "Proselyte, to proceed with our great revolution in the ages, we must resort to prototypes and failed projects now that the Protocol is locked."

"I trust you, Patriot Mermaid. Go, lead an infiltration squad and infiltrate a nearby outpost in the northwest. The proud Queen will suspect nothing, and would think it's the Renegade's Covenant. Go."
"And I thought that I'd get to lay back for a while. Better luck next time, huh." Vex said jokingly and headed out.

Vex would head for the northwest, near the lands of the Renegade's Covenant (@Edge45), leading a squad consisting of six Shades (stealthy infiltrators which cannot be detected by infrared vision, and are literally silent), four Shadowmancers and two Seductresses.

Vex and the infiltration unit stationed a quarter mile from the outpost to plan the course of action.
She sat her ass on a rock close by and was casually reaching for her cigar box, only to find it empty.
".. Right" She said with a sigh and briefly pressed her hands against her head.
"Does this base have any kind of connection throughout the other establishments? Or can we just go and massacre them all right where they stand?"
