Awaiting updateSeriously... marks are incorrect... you've expected him to make a 100% quality ring from LOTR with 100% correct writtens? people dont even notice stuff like that...the markings on the ring are incorrect.
the markings on the ring are incorrect.
the markings on the ring are incorrect.
Theyre Elven runesNot bad but the Mordor runes could have been done better
Theyre Elven runes
Theyre Elven runes

Here is the corpus of all Black Speech quotations:
Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul,
ash nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul
(One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them,
one ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them)
It isn't elven.
It's black speech!

it does not prevent model from disappearing when a hero picks it up which is the only thing that matters imois misisng stand and death sequence
they do persist for too long but they are rare enough that it's not a big dealthe particle emitter expands too much outward. Maybe shrink it or replace it with another effect or remove it
So that users get an accurate representation of the quality and standards of a given model.i have to question what is the point of messing with these old models and changing their approval status
This is true, I have been open to fixing textures in the skins section before. Edits that simply optimise and make no artistic change to a model I would be open to updating the bundle on behalf of an author who is no longer active.RightField was last online in 2019, but last time he posted was in 2005, he's not gonna appear and fix the model
People can change their default viewing settings."awaiting update" does not show for people by default and this model shouldn't be hidden in there
I disagree, we can definitely re-look at older works and give users an accurate representation of how those models will work for them in a modern context. Users need to be able to trust that when they download a resource it will work as expected and be held to a particular set of standards or is indicated otherwise if it won't.old models shouldn't be judged by modern standards
And if no one comes along eventually? Will it remain in limbo? This is true, I have been open to fixing textures in the skins section before. Edits that simply optimise and make no artistic change to a model I would be open to updating the bundle on behalf of an author who is no longer active.
Just not those whose texture paths, for instance, have been broken by Blizzard updates?I disagree, we can definitely re-look at older works and give users an accurate representation of how those models will work for them in a modern context. Preferably not.And if no one comes along eventually? Will it remain in limbo?
You are free to use the Suggest Moderation button on textures.Just not those whose texture paths, for instance, have been broken by Blizzard updates?
Well, once in Awaiting Update, who will regularly check, model mods/reviewers or are you up for a whole resources forum management?Preferably not.
I mean, these should not get in Awaiting Update but if "fixed" then that's good keeping in mind they will not work on older patches anymore unless there will be both paths added. You are free to use the Suggest Moderation button on textures.
Well this is the idea of the suggest moderation button, that regular users can see if an old resource has the wrong tags for example and suggest it so we can fix it.Well, once in Awaiting Update, who will regularly check, model mods/reviewers or are you up for a whole resources forum management?
Multiple paths can be added to textures. Not all suggestions come with a suggested moderation, you can suggest just changing the texture path.I mean, these should not get in Awaiting Update but if "fixed" then that's good keeping in mind they will not work on older patches anymore unless there will be both paths added.
I'd like add if I am allowed to that a proper course should be taken before any re-moderation of already approved resources takes place.Well, once in Awaiting Update, who will regularly check, model mods/reviewers or are you up for a whole resources forum management?

Why wouldn't you be allowed to?I'd like add if I am allowed to
Sure it's a new system and we're still trying to iron out the kinks and figure out how it should work. Site Discussion is always open to people's feedback and suggestions.that a proper course should be taken before any re-moderation of already approved resources takes place.
I think moderation should always be open to another look, even positive changes like an old model that deserves High Quality or nomination for DC should definitely be looked at even if it's 20 years old.If the model still works in-game and gives no huge bugs there and current moderation should stay as is. Things like unneeded sequences or materials should be the last thing to look after. Remember we did not have sanity checker 20 years ago.
I'm not sure I've observed any bullying. We can check and edit the text of a suggested moderation before we approve it.I don't want to get bullied if a resource of mine is slightly not perfect, though I will listen to improve if it is said in a nice way.
I admit, because I have done that in the past to some people. It's shitty and I feel really bad about it and honestly, I am sorry I did that to people.I'm not sure I've observed any bullying. We can check and edit the text of a suggested moderation before we approve it.
That sounds good, but a bit too wishy-washy.I think moderation should always be open to another look, even positive changes like an old model that deserves High Quality or nomination for DC should definitely be looked at even if it's 20 years old.
I would like to think that the author of the re-moderated model always has the last word. Since uploaders would be pretty peeved if they get stepped over.Sure it's a new system and we're still trying to iron out the kinks and figure out how it should work. Site Discussion is always open to people's feedback and suggestions.
Well as I said we can edit or reject the suggestions and the text associated with them, so I don't think any bullying will occur unless we allow it to pass.I admit, because I have done that in the past to some people. It's shitty and I feel really bad about it and honestly, I am sorry I did that to people.
I have no doubt that some people might do the same to be now.
Wdym? Pretty sure you can literally suggest models for HQ unless I'm mistaken? That sounds good, but a bit too wishy-washy.
I don't think uploaders get any say in the moderation of their resources outside of being able to update their resource or delete it if they so wish. I don't know in what way uploaders are getting stepped over.I would like to think that the author of the re-moderated model always has the last word. Since uploaders would be pretty peeved if they get stepped over.
