I have an idea on a campaign. I was inspired by the great city Eldre'thalas and Shen'dralar highborne. My campaign has two variants: Exile from Quel'thalas and Return of Shen'dralar.
Exile from Quel'thalas
Introduction: Exile from Quel'thalas
Young Ranger-Lieutenant of Quel'thalas, runs from her destroyed homeland to find a place she would call home. She and here people make an exodus on a ship, and sail to distant shores of Kalimdor. Her friend a powerfull high elven mage stays at the ruins of Sunwell. Ranger and her people sail to Kalidar, from there they sail further. After weeks they were attacked by naga and had to abandon their ship. Lost on the distant shores they have nothing exept themselves. But you have seen a big structure deep in the forest.
Chapter One: Feral Forest
With your ship and your supplies sunk you need to find sanctuary. Perhaps the structure you saw, could serve a one? As you go in the forest in search of the sanctuary, you find ogres. Who knowes how many ogres live in this woods, so you must avoid detection. You notice that the forest is full of old ruins, which are home for a lot of ghosts, harpies and satirs. After some time you finally see your goal - a great citadel, that seems to be abandoned for thousands of years. With great caution, your people enter the gates.
Chapter Two: Ancient Ruins
As you enter the ruins you see a great number of ogres, ghost and demons.
Again, you must not alert the ogres of your presence. Soon you find a gate, protected by magic and voices coming from behind it. There is no choise so you cry for help. After a small dialogue you enter the room. You see a hall-library full of highborne. They introduce themselves as Shen'dralar. They aid you and tell the story of Eldre'thalas. They tell you about prince Totheldrin and his dark deeds, and ogre invasion. With your newfound allies you must clear Eldre'thalas of ogres, demons, satyrs and undead. After you destroy the ogres, you must start the destruction of pylons, which are imprisoning ancient demon Immol'thar. In the gardens you find that his corruption is slowly spreading. The garden is full of mad treants and an ancient. You go into another garden to a Spirit Pool(Fountain of Life). With a full vial of clean water you clear the ancient, and he clearsthe gardens of corruption. He gives you Shen'dralar Wisps to heal your warriors. Then you enter Immol'thars prison and destroy him. Prince Totheldrin appears and tries to destroy you. When you kill him, spirits of fallen Shen'dralar appear to thank you.
Interlude: Rebuilding Eldre'thalas
You and the Shen'dralar plan how to retake the forest. You see Eldre'thalas being rebuilt with the help of high elves. The Shen'dralar arcanists, summon your high elven mage friend, from the Sunwell Grove. He not only becomes the ruler of the high elves, but also your strategist, allowing you to train more different units.
Chapter Three: Cleansing of Feralas
You use your workers to build high elf-highborne bases, and retake shores of Feralas. You find a night elven dock. The night elves attack you and you have no choise, but to answer. Finally you retake the High Wilderness.(Main quest)
Chapter Four: Great Tree
You go to northern Feralas, retaking the ruins(Main quest). You destroy satyr bases, cleanse the ruins of harpies and finally meet the green dragonflight, guarding an entrance to the Emerald Dream. After your conversation, they accept to help you.
Chapter Five: Destruction of Gordunni
The Feralas is almost yours, you need only to destroy the ogres ones and for all. You need to destroy ogres, silithid(optional quest)and retake the Lower Wilds. Now Feralas is yours!
Interlude: Embassadors
Your new capital is visited by night elves from Fortress Feathermoon. They say that your attack was unhonored. When you try to explane the night elves declare war.
Chapter Six: Siege of Eldre'thalas
Your capital is under siege by night elves. Destroy their base, and do not be destroyed yourself. You command all your heroes.
Chapter Seven: Isle of Dread
You have to build ships at night elven dock, which you attacked. Then you need to get to the Isle of Dread without being noticed. There you must destroy the Naga forces, get to the end of the isle, and there open a portal through which your forces will assemble. Now another threat is destroyed, and you can make an assault on the Fortress.
Chapter Eight: Siege of Fortress Feathermoon
The night elves are a threat to our existance. We must stop their attacks, but not begin a war between our nations. You must capture all the night elves in the Fortress, but do not kill anyone.
Epilogue: Restoration of Peace
Now, when you wrote a message to Tyrande Whisperwind, she came to see the invaders. After a long chat, you make her understand your situation. In the end she understands, and declares peace between two nations. Now the Feathermoon Fortress is yours, and only a few night elves will be left here, to keep an eye on you.
Now, when you have cleared your lands and rebuilt your cities, you have found a homeland after all. Glory to Eldre'thalas!
Return of Shen'dralar
The same but without chapter one and the high elves. You start at chapter two at the base of Shen'dralar in Eldre'thalas. This variation is more lore related, but less fun.
REJECTED
So, what do you think?
If you like it, maybe we can make it.
Youre opinions are really needed.
