Questions!

I couldn't find any other suitable page to post this in, so i guess this will work? Tell me if i'm wrong please.

First off, what is this Sc2? I just recently noticed this part of hive (today to be exact) and i'd just like to know what it stands for! Just the other day, my friends were talking about this "Sc2" game, and i didn't want to make a fool of myself by asking them "What the hell is Sc2." So i came to you guys, who i hope will be more understanding towards the subject!
Specifically what my friends were talking about were mostly. "Dude, have you seen that engine for Sc2! It's so fucking sick, i just feel like ejaculating to that beauty." And "I hear before beta is up, they are gonna have a dota game up and running on it, made by blizzard, and will have a tournament to get the game started up." This seems pretty ridiculous to me, but as i said before, i'm not very familiar with this game!

umm the name of the forum section kinda describes it well. It is starcraft 2. A sequel to blizzards RTS starcraft

I advise youtube starcraft II, that would be the best sport to see what the game looks like. Basically it is a futuristic WC3 without heroes but heroes are supported in custom maps.
