Added the sun highlights, started working on the fire highlights.

I also added a half-assed background. I'll probably go over it later.

And yes instead of that top grayish part I'll be rendering more of that picture.

Stupid unregistered terragen and its image dimensions restrictions. :/

Looks great.

Only critisim is the eye on the left (the dragon's right eye), the pupil looks wrong, but I do not know how to descrive it. Anyway, your dragon picture is very good.

Yeah, I'm probably going to reduce the contrast of the scales' outline.

No, it's just a generic rat.

I needed inspiration for a speedpaint and Sansui said "a rodent angel" so I started doing a guinea pig but their anatomy is wtf so I did a rat instead.

I think you could shade it's nose (or whatever it's named in english).

Rats are fairly unique Naze, but its the personality that tops that off.
And py, rats are more curvy and plump than doll like.

I think I'm starting to run out of steam on this Scorch piece. The sky is giving me a headache to get right. I'm debating whether to try to finish the clouds, or to just stick in a stock photo and go over it a bit.

The neck and legs seem wrong in the sketch.

I'll be blurring the sky a lot more as right now it looks much more unfinished compared to Scorch.

The legs are very human like, especially that posture and the way they are attaced to the body. But then again what do you expect to happen if you give a dragon a human like posture and thus I can not really say it is wrong.

Woot Scorch! She looked wierd in your campaign/project thing. But this really says "Scorch as a mage" great job!

Critique: The shadow of her arm on the wing is a bit wierd. I think it needs to be a little blurred? It's just my thought, but I might be wrong.

Well, the lightning that the stormy background suggests doesn't match with the lightning used at the dragon.

Yes, I should have said that before, but I couldn't :/

I'll suggest a sunset background or something with an orange/yellow fog.

Well, I really don't want to redo the sky, but would tinting it so it's more orangey instead of that grayish green work better?

its not that. Its the wierd swirls you have in the sky. I have circled it for you. Also, I like the rain detail you have. I saw many small details when I was circling the swirls. Hope this helps! :thumbs_up:

That's a color palette.. it allows him to pick out the colors he needs really easily. He, of course, will remove them once completely finished.

Ah. I never knew what it did. I always thought it was a bad attempt of a swirl. I have had it happen to me and figure it was unnecisary. So I deleted it.

Ok. nevermind.

The scales around the eye look kind of odd. Don't scales normally wrap around the eyes, rather than continuing the pattern? But I don't know much about dragon anatomy @_@

Scales on a lizard head are bigger and have a more plated look, Ike, so that's why it looks weird
