Problem With Gold Per Attack !!!

I know that there is an option in this world editor i just can't find it
I worked hard but i can't find anywhere anything about How to make a Unit to give me gold per Attack and deppends of his damage If there is a solution for this could anyone tell me more about this i know it sounds easy but i don't know how to do it so .... :vw_wtf:
 
Yo, hello and welcome to the hiveworkshop!

If you'd like to have some help on that problem of yours, try posting an inquiry on the Trigger and Scripts section, as we are currently in the introductions section.

To answer your question; I think you'd need to use a damage detect engine for that type of ability, it's an advanced topic so I suggest reading some basic tutorials in the tutorials section if you have the time.

If you want it to work for any unit, you have to use a damage detection system and add the gold through Add Property.
 
If I remember well pillage always gave an percentage of the unit cost independent of the damage because of that there was an WC3 mod where you could win gold by hitting one of your own buildings while repairing it because the creator gave pillage to an 1 Dmg high attack speed unit with an percentage of pillage of one percent.
 
That wouldn't work well, a player can abuse the "on attack event". An on damage event is still the best solution.
 
Event: A Unit is Attacked
Action: Give The Owner of Attacking Unit +1 Gold

This method can be customizable further.
Otherwise, you can use Pillage skill.
This is not good. You could Stop-spam for tons of gold. And it'll look weird for a ranged hero.

Damage Detection is just as customizable, and far less abusable.
