This is a picture of my undead protection-spec warrior (level 70 of course).
Gaze upon the might of tier 6! (well I only have 2 pieces but still xD)

Edit: Sorry that it's kinda hard to see what gear he has on, but tier 6 shoulders+gloves, helm is faceplate of the impenetrable, tier 5 chest, and bloodthirster's wargreaves. Belt is girdle of the invulnerable and cloak is pepe's.

PVP != PVE.

Prot is obviously great for raid/instance. But for PVP it's horrible.

To me, PVP is a bunch of boring minigames and arena is just retarded. I don't need the loot from arena, and to me there is no point in just fighting over no objective. Maybe if there was some kind of giant war event with loads of level 1 npc's to smack xD

Except that Arena gear owns Raid gear, and that playing against other players is obviously more rewarding and challenging than playing against boring NPCs.

Opinions != Facts

I USED to like PVP until blizz killed it with resilience. Now, it sucks completely with everyone getting welfare epics.

Because you need skill to play now instead of 1 shotting people which completely took no skill? What brad.dude03 said is INDEED a FACT that playing against other players is obviously more rewarding and challenging. Don't tell me you're mentally challenged to actually find the AI difficult to outsmart, outplay.

I remember my Shadow Priest could easily kill people in 1 SWP with 560ish Shadow damage pre BC, unmitigated by resilience (though DoT damage reduction was recent, but because I had PvE advantage over many people with +damage, it shows that PvE was widely dominant before), and because stam was as expensive as other stats back then, no one had alot of health and could easily die in 1 DoT. Yep, that took alot of SKILL!

As for the part in welfare epics, it is only a gear used for PvP. Why don't you try using the entire set in PvE(exception is the weapon), and see how shitty you do? Oh yeah for some reason it never took me long or any effort to gather any gear from either PvE and PvP, they're both almost welfare to me. PvE gear is so easy to achieve, you only require a raid of NON-DOWNIES, who knows how to stick to a strategy and NOT DIE. If you're taking too much time on new bosses, take the hint to gquit or gkick downy members.

PvE gear is used for PvE, nothing else, it's like getting pixels to be used against pixels (of course there are some exception to this, such as the staff from Gurtogg Bloodboil), then to progress further into the pixels totally controlled by AI for more PvE pixel gear. (Although I do use my Nethervoid Cloak for PvP, and some PvE rings for their int).

PvP gear is used for PvP itself, and maybe weapon for PvE (considering its cost, it isn't SO WELFARE, when the trash drop mace from Hyjal can drop twice in the same run of 4). You'll lack the offensive stats(by alot, in fact), you'll lack the regeneration, you'll only have survivability. While it is useful in some fights, non-downies can easily use their PvE gear for those fights while taking minimal damage, thus the survivability is wasted, while they actually contribute more to the raid. The high survivability enables longer PvP combat, so you have actually the chance to outplay your opponent, and not OH MY GOD ONE SHOTTED then nothing else after that. With the high survivability, you have to deal with the heals, counter what they try to do, with alot of moving involved etc, that's what we really called PvP. Oh yeah I can only get 1 piece every 2 weeks, considering I don't got a 5v5.

EDIT: TLDR: Stop QQing over PvP and PvE differences, they're pretty much 2 different aspects of the game. QQing over them is like I'm saying why isn't the apple tasting like orange and vice versa.

Arena gear does not own raid gear. IMO, although merc's is better than tier 5, the new arena 3 warrior set is unbelievably bad. I love the armor penetration on tier 6, even though I am prot. I probably should be fury, but you don't get into raids as easily that way.
Whatever, 'tis too late, I quit Blizzard's WoW :D

Yes back in vanilla WoW, Warlocks and Hunters soloed elites at Winterspring farming for Eye of Shadow to sell to Priests.

Soloing an elite normally involves kiting, chain fearing/snaring, or tank/outlast it.

So, what about your HP?

My HP on my level 70 warrior is 13187. My HP on my old level 60 hunter from before TBC was something like 6000 in tier 2+3.

:p Wasn't asking you, wand said something was wrong with his HP.

But yeah Shadow Priests dominated everything just by standing still pre BC with merely 500ish Shadow damage, because Devouring Plague(Undead only, sucks to be others) stacking with VE was obviously overpowered. But then now Devouring Plague is totally useless in Arenas (almost), which I wish I had rolled a Troll for the -20% healing debuff (which I thought was crap pre BC). Even with 4k health, Shadowform and Inner Fire stacking up mitigated alot of damage (I wish that Necroknight Robes dropped).

Actually, with my paladin, I was able to fairly easily solo Varedis, who's a 70 elite, if I remember correctly(although I suppose I outlasted him).

I thought I'd post a screenshot of mine on the private server, since i've seen other people doing it.

Screenshot is of me holding a custom made staff

And dont ask me how I did it or what server I run in this thread or any thread please.

Now, lets see if it lets me upload a screenshot this time...

Edit: Finally...now it decides to let me upload.

You should head on to the Barrens next, do Barrens quests, as horrible as they are. Once you hit 20 or so you can move onto the next in a long wind of desert-themed zones that are lifeless and bland.

Alternatively, you can go to the Undead teen-levelling zone called Silverpine. I much preferred it to the Barrens.

Anywho, here's a few screens. Most are less than Live, as you probably noticed.

Those aren't custom items... all of those can be found in game on the live servers, with normal stats, etc. The third area is a hidden area off the coast of Tanaris that is tiny and called Quel'Thalas, though it bears little resemblance to the real Quel'Thalas.

In the third screenshot i'm using the Hungering Cold and Saphiron's Claw. Look them up, they drop in Naxx.

In the last two, I have the wolfclaw sniper rifle, and again, the hungering cold.

Mato, is that on a private server? GMs don't tend to be that active on Blizzard :z
It's a private server, if i had all that crap on retail, i'd never stop playing. though it did take some raiding it's much easier to get t6 on private servers:)

I've been playing since the game launched in November of '04. When I quit and recorded this shortly after I gave over 100 void crystals which is over 2k gold on my server to some random guy who just made his character. It felt good to finally beat wow. I got tired of the mindless gear grind tier after tier.
My pally had a set for each tree pretty much all epics at the time. I kinda wish I sold her but oh well XD.
