Possible to extract or get WC2 sounds?

As title says, is it possible to get all those sounds by any program? unit sounds etc? would really help me so much. Please help me with that.

Yes, if you own WC2, there's a sound editor program that comes with it that allows sound modification (and extraction, if I recall correctly).

If it has an MPQ file, it might be in there. The MPQ extractors on this site work for WoW [dunno what happens], StarCraft [but the only MPQ comes up with nothing], and others. I'll try it on D2.

The files

I was unable to extract the files from WC2 and the expansion myself.
Since I was not able to install the game, I did try for some hours to make a MS Dos Emulator to work. Without any success.

However I was able get a hold of the sound files anyway.

I was however able to extract the soundtrack files and added those aswell to my Pastebin. You might find them useful.
