Hey Ill admit it I like pokemon to but I feel bad for people who put a lot of work into a project that always has the possibility of being forgotten very fast especially if its just a mod for a game. I'm not trying to ruin this or anything but I don't know if its worth all this work....
 
Yixx, good to know things are working out better this time. It motivates us. =D

BTW, I'm pretty tired of our signature. I'm thinking about making particular signatures to each member. Pretty simple ones. Just tells the name, where from and occupation on the project, showing the favorite pokemon, containing some poisonous 'humor' of mine. :razz:

Also, having a pokedex layout and a small size.

Damn you really were gone for a long time! =P

I converted the whole battle system to (almost perfectly functioning) vJass
I am now working on making stats work and make it support EV's and IV's,, that is update for now =P

I already have ;) I can improve the way it looks. But if it has to be a model thing then im lost xP
Ohh... By the way when open up the Pokedex, you have to lock the screen at it. (If you scroll down/up it gets :X up)

Edit: You should also make space for information about the pokemon, replace that with the "How to use" tooltip in the Pokedex. You can move that tooltip into the Pokedex spell description.
Ohh... And if you use the spell 2 times at the same time it LAGS alot!

By the way here is a Pic of how a Pokedex use to looks like:

Just to make sure I understand an "This slot is empty icon"?
Well I got a WOW bag icon that i have recolored for my own campagin. Maby we can use that?

@Yixx: LOL I LOST THE BUS!!!!!!!! I was late and it was just gone. im going in another one in two hours later... the worst part is that i had no money to come back from the bus station to my hotel so i came on foot, through the most dangerous places of the city - weed-smelling dark narrow streets full of prostitutes, shemales, thieves and drug dealers, - and I wearing my nice nike shoes and quiksilver clothing and backpack. And yet i didn't know the wayback on foot, so I went asking to random people directions. Today I was born once again for getting home alright! lol!

<- this thing is pretty ugly and crappy. We need some practical design for us. I like the current one better. Remember that each version has a different pokedex design, since we are doing an original version of pokemon, we should have our own pokedex design, which in my opinion resembles pretty well a pokedex.

The backpack looks cute!

Do people often tell you to stop talking for fear of you getting hurt by someone who takes it the wrong way? We seriously do not need people telling us that something we're doing isn't worth it, so would you politely leaves us be?

Now that's out the way, sorry for my absence, I probably won't post here as much as I used to xD. But when I saw someone trying to tell us how pointless everything we're doing is, well, I just had to say something along the lines of 'close your mouth before it gets stuck open permanently'.

All systems are go!! I love this project xD

Create a Bagback/Item store icon.
Create a run away icon.
Start working on the game-menu theme again.
Create the animated snorlax clock for the game-menu theme.
Write some Pokemon storyes.

That looks kinda nice! =D,, It looks freehand? And it is for 'Switch Pokemon'?
But,,,,, Me and HC have been thinking,, Wouldnt Trackables (or clickable units) be easier to handle for the 'battle menu' ?
Just a thought,, and this icon IS gonna be used, for switch pokemon or not ;)

You making Freehand icons now? Cuz it looks like one! That really is cool!
Only one thing,, The bag spot is empty, so i propose the BTN will look like a DISBTN and the DISBTN is the same, cuz it is not a real item after all, just an inventory filler ;)

But i gotta say, it looks really nice! If this is really freehand, then you have REALLY improved your iconing skillz!

You mean that this icon should be the "This slot is empty" icon? Or am I misunderstanding you?

Well, the icon itself is awesome, but the thing is. Now it looks like you can click it and something will happen. We need an icon that looks like it is not clickable, like some 'Passive' icon.

Yeah, actually it indicates that the slot is empty, only in a better way then warcraft does =D

and just looking back, change hp regen to undead, with uba regen, then some Blight will make a good poke center lol ;)
Liked the first "war3" pokedex, it fits in
still can wait for it to come out :D

Maby I should wait with the icon background to the UI is done. That way we can see what color would fit best.

Edit: Yixx you want a Snorlax or a Voltorb clock for the UI?
And did you ever get any answeres about the animated clock question of mine?
And if we don't have anyone to create skins for Pokemon trainers I could do that to. If you want it?

There's a huuuge conflict between this and the warcraft style. You should make more complex textures with proper shading and etc... :bored:

Well that the problem I don't have a theme for the UI... Right now im just making it simpel with pokemons on it.
(But I am working on the shading)

Ok, forget the blue en yellow, here is your theme:
An UI that goes from red (up) slowly into white (down), giving it some sorta Pokeball effect, only without the line in between and making it go slowly into each other,,
You know what i mean? That would be awesome! =D,,
And the lines (the ones that are on the upper part of the 'red' ) are black, all lines are black with sometimes a round ball in them (like the round thing on Pokeballs),,

You get what i am saying? =D

Yeah... Just sad you are telling me now... Hmm I think I can remake my work on the UI so far... Ill give it a shot.

Try to make a more warcrafitsh UI instead of all those colorful and happy pokemons.

Remember: This isn't a map for lil 4 years kids. We have to make this game as mature as possible (like deaths, rapes, violence, weed, etc).

And the Terraining Contest is running. I have exactly 17 days to finish my terrain. And I didn't even started! O NOZ!

Here is what ive made so far:
(It is a Pokeball that is opening up letting Pickachu and the 3 start Pokemons out (The top has not been made yet)

Edit: Yeah I saw that contest, just an idea, you could make "The little world" which is inside of a Pokeball xP
