Patch 1.35 Coming January 19

Warcraft III: Reforged PTR – Version 1.35.0 Build 19836

Today, we applied Build 19836 to the PTR, which we intend to be our final iteration on balance for 1.35.

The Warcraft III development team is now focused on bug fixing.

Please keep in mind that when patch 1.35 goes live, all ladder ranks will be reset for the new season and players will play their placement matches.

  • Revive Time Factor reduced from 0.65 to 0.6.

  • Blademaster Mirror images now give XP.
Human

  • Mortar Team HP reverted from 380 to 360.
Night Elf

  • Keeper of the grove entangle duration decreased from 9/18/30 to 9/17/25.
  • Immolation initial mana cost reduced from 35 to 30.
Undead

  • Frost Nova damage cap reverted.
  • Dark Ritual cooldown reduced from 25 to 20 seconds.
  • Dark Ritual mana return reduced from 33/66/100 to 30/50/75.
Bugfixes:

  • Fixed an issue with models and textures not loading properly when switching between different custom maps, and graphics.

  • Reverted Headhunter lumber cost from 30 to 20.
  • Headhunter build time increased from 20 to 22 seconds.
  • Blademaster Mirror images damage increased from 10 to 15% of the Blademaster’s base damage.
  • Great Hall build time reduced from 150 to 140 seconds.
  • Brute Strength bonus reduced from 150 to 125 HP.

After two years of total abandonment and laughing at all its players, it seems that now Blizzard wants to redeem itself. Maybe if they keep working... Now at least, if there seems to be at least 1 worker taking care of WarCraft III Reforged.

I am happy for the custom campaign modders if the custom campaigns work properly now. I wish they would do even more for custom maps like increase limits, allow all tilesets to be used in one map, render all cliff types properly in one map and add some new natives which would be really easy to implement. New natives always mean new interesting systems.

I'm glad they restored Siege Engine's no attack against ground units and fortified armour. This is what's making this unit unique. Overally I like the changes and first and foremost I like that they started giving Reforged the attention it needed long ago.

Let's hope retards won't be hired in other studios. Gaming industry would collapse in no time.
After seeing this match (but in that moment the damage was 25%)
, I can understand why they decided do that, but yeah, I know that could break the gameplay, for example: if the blademaster has low hp and use mirror image, its free xp to the opponent.

I'm glad that you see possibility of breaking gameplay. That said even after watching this I don't see why they did that. Besides name "Mirror Image" speaks for itself: it isn't meant to improve damage in any way, only fool and distract enemy.

You're not getting any features that elaborate or game-changing until Microsoft takes over, and even then it's a "maybe." Right now these latest patches are focused entirely on unbreaking the game from Reforged's launch state.

I've heard reports that the last patch caused Boss Battle to crash a lot more. Anyone have some insight into what could be causing that?

Sad that we aren't seeing fixes for editor crashes either. I miss being able to touch up terrain, or being able to use the Layer pallette at all.

edit: the balance changes went from being really ambitious to very little, which is also unfortunate (atleast for players that want to see a new meta develop). Is far seer too good in any matchups btw? I wonder why they nerfed him. Atleast give the boy some compensation buffs outside of "if you are using chain lightning as much as spirits you are mana neutral". just my /2c.

& lord, please let them making mirror image's damage not consider bonus damage NOT break custom maps. insert pray emoji here

Some maps I have tested that crashes on the 1.34 editor do not crash on the ptr 1.35 editor at least.

I was excited and curious about the Circlet's ability to change it's attribute bonus through clicking, trying to imagine how interesting such ability would be in the Object Editor for map makers. Sadly, this feature is gone before it became public.
