Thanks for helping, Nailgun, but that's not exactly what I want. I don't want the Druid to be a bear permanently. But, I just thought of something that COULD help me... if I edit the Gameplay Constants and set "Gameplay - Can Deactivate Metamorphosis" True, then I guess I solved the problem (unless... Metamorphosis is also bugged like the Bear Form, which I hope is not

Geomancer looked good, checked the spelling and seemed fine :) (HAHAHA I will find something ! ;) )

if you want a cinematic maker, ask septimus if he got time, he's the best after the one who made the black panther series (cant remember the name)

EDIT:

Found 2 spellings at groundshaker ;) unconsious is spelled unconscious and riple is spelled ripple :) I will find something everytime you release something haha :)

another thing about the Geomancer ability tooltips,

the last two spells says "Mojo does something..."
the first two spells says "Miko does something..." (miko is his name not mojo)
Oh, God... sorry about that, I'll fix it right now. I don't know what was I thinking... I was kinda absent... but thank you very much for noticing that!

i like the terrain and the heroes are great but i think it would be better if there are 2 or 3 different kinds of trees
Don't you worry about the terrain, I'm gonna redo the whole terrain to make it look better! And yes, there will be more than types of trees.

Druid in bear form will have special bear abilities or do you want bear form to keep other druid abilities but other abities can be cast only in normal form? :grin:

If you want keep abilities you can make it like druid of the claw bear form, or if you want to have other abilies i can(try) make it in GUI triggers if u want.

And another question :D. Bosses have special abilities or spells? Or only just auto attacking enemies?

I hope you will understand... sorry for my english.

And about your Chinese-Japanese disscusion, I say Pandarens are neither, or both. Yes, bamboo and pandas are mainly in china, but the buildings, style of living and fighting are japanese. And to be honest, I jove Japan and it is my dream to visit it. But not because of their crazyness and technology, but because of their history, culture and tradition. Oh, if Pandarens ever show up in WoW as playable race, I'm buying WoW for sure! ^^'

zz I know everyone is in love with Anime but I'd love it if you added some elements of Chinese culture to the RPG, not just Japanese

I've actually studied Japanese and Chinese (languages and culture), I'd be happy to help provide stuff for your map: names for villages and characters, translations for spells (if you want them to have a more chinese/japanese flavor to them) as well as ideas for character/conflict motivations (obviously, there are tons of religions in Asia which you could take ideas from, mythology, story etc.).

If you're interested drop a PM, I'd be willing to help you if you want. Of course, you don't have to borrow stuff straight from Asia, but it doesn't hurt to be inspired by it if you want it to keep that flavor.

lol no my name comes from a TMBG song I was listening to when I registered... it has little significance.

The Chinese name I usually use is 道枵 (dao4xiao1) which means "way of hollow part of tree" (lol yes it's rather odd). I never bothered giving myself a Japanese name because my knowledge of Japanese is all from self-study (I learned Japanese on my own then I took some classes on Chinese at my college), so while I'm fluent in neither I can make some pretty accurate written translations.

And yeah, sorry for going off on a tangent there, but I felt the need to explain.

As for staying on topic, how is this RPG going to be organized? I get the feeling it's going to be Single Player, but with 3 heroes to choose from, how will the story be implemented? Will you get extra party members or is this going to only have 1 hero (a solid idea I think)? I skimmed the previous pages but I don't think I came across anything on this.

Well... I need someone who's really good with that stuff, no offence though. The bear form is now based on Robo-Goblin ability and his abilities are the same in bear form. And yes, bosses will have their own special abilities, just attacking would be boring... :/

That would be great, FlowerofSpeech! I could use some nice Japanese/Chinese names for heroes and spells. Btw, I think I already got one Japanese word spell, Okibi. I think it means "blazing fire". Also... I'm not an anime fan, so that's not my reason for loving Japan.

There is all the info about the map on the first page, first post! ^^ Also read the introduction. And the gameplay is... you venture across Pandaria in the search for Pandamonium, doing quests, fighting the enemies, collecting items and so on... something like that.

Haku trows his blade forward (400 range) dealing damage to every thing in the path of his blade.

Level 1 - 60 damage. Costs 8 mana points.
Level 2 - 90 damage. Costs 16 mana points.

Haku strikes with such a power that his blade is going true the enemy armor and wounding them.

Level 1 - 3% to wound the target dealing 140 damage over 2 sec.Ignores 1.5 armor.

Passive ability.

Mirror Image
Haku uses a special ability to create a mirror image of himself to confuse his enemies.When cast, the ability dispels all magic from Haku.

Level 1 - The image has damage taken increased to 200% , lasts 10 seconds and does 4% of Haku's dmg. Costs 6 mana points.
Level 2 - The image has damage taken increased to 175% , lasts 15 seconds and does 8% of Haku's dmg. Costs 13 mana points.
Level 3 - The image has damage taken increased to 150% , lasts 20 seconds and does 12% of Haku's dmg. Costs 20 mana points.
Level 4 - The image has damage taken increased to 125% , lasts 25 seconds and does 16% of Haku's dmg. Costs 27 mana points.
Level 5 - The image has damage taken increased to 100% , lasts 30 seconds and does 20% of Haku's dmg. Costs 34 mana points.

75 seconds cooldown.

And war dance :)



I suggest to remove "Tornado spin" (same like War Dance) make "Wind Strike" ultimate. And add this skill ;)

The Katana that Bani wears isn't an ordinary sword.It It is the fastest and sharpest katana in the world.The Wind Katana (Wind Saber) was given to Bani by the Spirit of Wind.

Level 1 - Increase atack speed by 3% and damage by 4%

Indeed okibi (燠火) does mean 'blazing fire'... though I'm not familiar enough to say whether the meaning is preserved. The word is made of Hi (火), fire, and Oki (燠) which means 'embers'. I guess you could use it as a spell name, though I must ask, in the map, will you be using English romanization? I think you can use the Chinese/Japanese Hanzi/Kanji if you copy and paste the words into the editor – and the text is supported by wc3 if player enable it in the options menu. Might be nice to have the characters with the romanization side by side? Dunno, something minor to consider.

Give me some spell name ideas, or describe some spells that need naming, and I'll churn out a few translations, if you like.

I was thinking about replacing the buildings with the Pandaren buildings that are in Hive's Models database, but I won't use those Samurai units... they just don't fit into my story, and my idea... sorry.

I think that models and skins FrIkY uses fit perfectly.
I say dont import any buidngs. But you should think about making some sort of a big, civilized(I mean not village towns that you have, but real chinese palaces)palaces or towns, of course destroyed by the demons.

Overall I really like your concept and the storyline. But the spells, especially the ones of the might heroes really feel to 'basic' if you know what i mean. As for the terrain, i don't think that adding a snowy area would hurt if there's still enough room for it. Variation is never bad and walking through (bamboo) woods all the time might get boring. Another thing that would be cool would be adding a bloodelve boss wearing an armor similar to that of Death's Hand in Jade Empire (I'll add a picture later), but that's just a suggestion so if it doesn't fit in your story it's not a big deal :wink:. Apart from that, I'd love to help you, but the only thing i am good at is terraining and story writing and as you've mentioned several times that you'll do that yourself i guess there's no way i can be of assistance. I really hope you'll finish this project, I'm looking forward to playing it. :grin:

Thank you very much, Static! But... there's one problem. It's the Pandaren RPG title... when I was testing it ingame, because of loading bar, you can't see the whole Pandaren RPG title. I wish there's a way to make the loading bar smaller or place it somewhere else on the Loading Screen...
