So, here comes my final entry for the Modeling comp.
The Nightelf-Battletank_Nightsaber.
The result of experimenting with the natural resources from the ashenvale forest, gave the gnome ingeniers a deadly war-machine. It's equipped with Mana-Laser gatling-guns and it has deadly blades on its front wheels.
Please, give credits when you use it in your map/campaign
You can edit the model, but please ask me before
anyway have fun
Update: Changed Internal name
Update: Gave the 'water-part' of the model an animated texture. -thanks at amigurumi for his awsome tutorial and DonDustin and ikillforeyou for giving me tipps
thx for all these comments jeah I was kinda busy while making it, soo I didn't added animated texture and so on, but I'm diffently going to make it. I'll also try to rotate the gatling gun. and for the front roller:
jeah, I just was really busy, I'm going to... add something..
anyway, thx for the comments, I'll beopen for more critic
I like it but the glass looks very odd 4\5 oh and i don't see how it's a night elf tank i think this could fit well as a Russian Tesla Tank from Red Alert >
Elves dont use such spikes, orc does it looks cool but even if the spikes can cleave the rocks, a tank would have a hard time moving when this doesnt roll well!
I think your model would be a hell of a lot better if it had different skins. The ones you chose just dont seem to match. Keep in mind that a lot of the Night Elf structures would probably be made of wood, seeing how they live in the forest.
Could you actually picture a Night Elf riding in that? lol
I like the spikes and the idea, just suggesting a reskin.
