Newgen won't start

I needed World Editor Newgen for a map, but somehow, whenever I try to start the program, it says that another instance of world editor is already running, now even after rebooting(which must nescessarily have shut down any running copy of WE) it still woulden't work, I even tried removing all newgen files from my computer, even the ones in recycle bin. Then I reinstalled, and it still had same error.

Any help?

you cant run the normal editor and the newgen at the same time i think thats your problem

check the task manager to see if there are any worldeditor.exe running on the processes tab...

run the worldedit.exe from your warcraft 3 folder if it will run properly..
if same error persists, try what adiktuz said..

or check if your anti-virus is blocking any instance of it

I am 110% sure that there is no WorldEdit.exe running, I already checked the official website, and this is a known problem. The only solution posted there was to reinstall, which diden't work for me.

Anyway thx for trying, but I don't think this program agrees with my PC.

Make sure you don't have an anti-virus up that is preventing NewGen from working properly. Try disabling any ones you have.
