How do you run NewGen Pack

Whenever I try to use Jass NewGenPack I get a bug;

Couldn't start Warcraft Editor. An instance of World Editor may already be running.
If running a patch prior to 1.21b make sure the Warcraft III Cd is in your drive
and try again.

As it says, my games patch is 1.21b, theres no other world editor instance running, my cd is in my driver. I installed the newgen pack to c:\programfiles\warcraftIII\NewGen\ . What am I doing wrong?

Update your NewGen pack. That should fix it.

#1: Restart.

If the problem persists:

#2: Do you have any firewall / antivirus software? if so, try disabling it then running newgen again.

#3: Are you on Windows XP or Windows Vista?

Vista or XP should make no difference. To run it on vista I pretty much extracted and it was ready to go (like XP). No changes or anything had to be made for it to work in vista and it worked better than on my XP machine.

What language OS you using? In the swiss XP, the one JASS enhancement thing does not work.

Well I've Kaspersky Antivirus but I tried deactivating and retrying it but didn't work, again... Any other suggestions ?

Kaspersky Antivirus + vista works fine, I have that setup on my vista PC and it does nothing bad to WE or any WC3 processes, even hosting.

Well since my problem wasn't on common asked questions or anything, I read the readme of it and still nothing. I guess I'm going to stick to the old WE, till I find a solution -.-,

You need to tell us more information if you want us to help you. Currently its been a guessing game. What OS your using would be a big help for a start.

Kaspersky is the problem.

I'm using XP servicePack 4 I think. Would it make too much difference?

I have the same problems, how did you fix them? just turn off kaspersky does not work
