hmm I guess this is as good as any place to ask about the resource section. How do you get to fill up the "General Map Information" when you submit your map? The fields for

Why nobody comments resources? At wc3sear.ch maps were only maps, icons and maybe art received very few comments, but every model, skin and tool got some comments. Maybe people do not know how to access them?

Huh? wc3sear.ch's map section was a disaster. By my fault too, but wc3s never aimed for quality. Hive won't aim for it either, I guess... oh well...

wel... not. there are moderators that wont delete maps, but put them in different sections (approved/unapproved/ingnored) i dont know what does this last one mean

Im not also quite sure what the ignored section is for. Even ralles wh40k td is there so maybe its the place where the best maps go, in that case the section is named silly

I like this section. But you should be able to edit your comments.

There are some good Icons awaiting approval.

Shouldn't there be an All in Status? It would be really useful.

The model section (maybe also others, I didn't check them) are a mess. The newest resources should be shown on the first page, but they are somewhere in middle.

And also download count is very low.

The unapproved section is for maps that can't be approved and never will be (i.e. porn, or do not function cause of bugs, etc. . .) The ignored section is for maps that may have already been uploaded and thus there is no need to repeat them or can't be approved for other reasons but may in the future(i.e. I don't speak German, thus I can not approve a map that is written in German for I can in no way know what the content of map because I have no idea what it says. BUT, someone else, who does speak German, and and is ALSO a map administrator can then look at that map and approve it.) I hope this clears up any confusion.

I think there is an ignored section, all maps in quues(?, dammit.. dont know the spelling) are put in unapproved, and if they are rejected they go in ignored and if they are approved they go in the approved section, i think.

Okay, I approved a bunch of maps, but I can't get those (Including WH40K) out of the ignored section, since they were seemingly placed there before I had any power or something....

Well, you should delete the maps you don't want. After all, people won't care if they are approved or denied, if the maps are there nonetheless.
Or, at least, delete porn maps, newbie maps and other trashes and effronteries.

I agree that we should just pretty much delete one of the sections and just use the other one for both. We should also make it so maps can be deleted.
