Shure, any specifics? I THINK I can do a SAVE/LOAD but... I've never done it before.

My forte in map making are:
-Excellency in Spelling
-Excellency in Grammar
-Loading Screen (I do Hi-Def loading screens too, but takes more space)
-Tooltips (Informative and nice looking)
-Color Codes (Adds some color to your white text)
-Multiboards (Keeps track of players)
-Custom UI (Upkeep interface has your desired text for example)
-Trigger Improving (Trigger Efficiency)
-Ideas
-Basic Overall Appearance of your map

There IS a difference between "destroy the evul demon using ur awsome abiluhties" and "Conquer the demonic forces of the Burning Legion with the holy powers of the Light by your side". :slp:

I don't do Save/Load Codes though.
 
Yes, like Aesthetics, I prefer (And Make) grammatically correct tooltips, descriptions, Etc.

I can and will do Color Codes.

I am great with Multiboards.

I can do a custom UI easily.

I am very good with triggers.

I am also good with ideas.

And I am a skilled Terrainer.

And, yes there is a massive diffrence between:

Here some details guys! .. The details is so easy for all of you guys ..


Before the game start the player 1 or color RED will choose a game type

Survival
Deathmatch


Survival type
In this at least one of the players must survive through 15 waves of enimies to win
Deathmatch
This mode a free for all game. Where you must killing your oppent to get point and if u rich the score limit is winner.

Save/Load system

Rank/Medal system = [ I think medal system is soon ]
In Rank system all players start with Private class rank
If they save and save a lot of exp and if they rich the specific exp they promote
to specific rank . .

The Rank is
[PFC]Private First Class = 500exp
[LCpl]Lance Corporal = 1,500exp
[CPL]Corporal = 4k exp
[Sgt]Sargent = 8k exp
[Msgt]Master Sargent = 16K exp
[SgtMaj]SargentMajor = 32K exp
[2lt]2nd Lieutenant = 64k exp
[1lt]1st Lieutenant = 90k exp
[Capt]Captain = 120k exp
[Maj]Major = 170k exp

For the hero we can do a choosable heroes

for now i must thinking a good details for the map

I think in terrain is a modern Destroyed cityscape or Dalaran ..

If you don´t have a Save&Load System, i´ve got one from here:

I use it in my ORPG. Just copy all the triggers in your map (make sure you have "Create Variables automatic" on, or it would be....yeah bad^^) Also copy the Text: (Open Trigger-Editor -> Click at the first Trigger, over all the Others (Map-Data-Symbol) Copy all this in your map, if you don´t know how, i will do it for you.
It´s a really good system, i like it :thumbs_up:

I can't really understand your way of ranks, because you forgot a lot of them. If you don't know all,. that'S no problem, but i must mention, that there exists a big difference between Colonel and General (I mean with differences = ranks)

So... I'm not sure, but that should be all (or at least majority) of the ranks, used in the infantry.

In case you haven't noticed, I don't settle for a less than perfect map. I mean, I saw DotA have one spelling error and I exploded.

Failure on untold levels.

While working on our currently unnamed project, I would also like to work on "Wolf Tag", my own tag map. Feel free to join me.

(Reasons I want to make Wolf Tag)
1. Dedication to certain people (without this I am not making crap, it's inspiration)
2. My own tag map that I will enjoy along with other people.
3. Gain map making experience.
4. Damn my avatar is sexy. (Not a real reason)

I don't think, it's easy to let them become Gen with 670k exp. And adding new ranks between 240k and 670k makes the game more realistic and not longer :p

You could just add one at 360k and one at 490k, so you have +2 ranks :)
 
---MAP UPDATE------------------Almost Done

Ok, Before I hand the map out to you guys I want to let you know the the tileset is Cityscape and the town looks nice. 'Nice' as in happy, bright, clean, etc.

Is that good?

Should I make it look evil with doodads? Or should i change the map altogether? Or do nothing and give it to you guys?

Just checking. :cool:

Gaegamel ,I think there is a big gap because you can save and load,plus its boring if you run around as a general for the whole game. I think the Night of the Living Dead games are fun because I love to run around weak with hordes of zombies chasing me with my friends die. =p

Does that make me a Bad person?

Looks pretty skilled,for doodads i think crashed cars would be cool,maybe some dead bodies,some fences and some broken down fences BTW whats the story behind this map?

Tactical Coordinator:
Abilities: Reinforcements, Helicopter Strike, Orbital Tracking,

May choose one of three Tactical Specializations:

Infantry Command, gives a bonus to reinforcements and the abilities: Sniper Support and Personal Vanguard.

Air Command gives a bonus to the Helicopter Strike Ability and gives the Air Lift Ability and the UAV Support ability.

Orbital Command gives a boost to the Orbital Targeting ablility and gives the Tank Drop and Hecate Cannon ability.

What do you think?

I was Asked to Join,to help make the map.and Criticism makes a map better,would you rather me tell you everything great about your map,so you think it's great then you wonder why no one wants to play it? i would hope you wouldn't

Strongly reminds me on FO (Forward observer), but this is epic :D

I would want to play him all the time, if it would be implemented.

for me its ok^^ .. but is so "Happy Map" u add scared doodads to make survival-mission game .. why rooms have 1 entering way.. u make 2 entering way ^^ ..

Another idea:

I think engineer and demo should merge. and he should be called the Technican.

AND another new class: Chem-Infantry (fires an acid gun):
Abilities:

Reverse Metabolisim:
Fires a special chemical dart that causes the target zombie to stop in its place, swell, and then eventually to explode, dealing damage to ALL nearby units.

Cure:
Cures an ally of any affliction. and heals a small amount of health but lowers the energy of that unit greatly.

C-Burst:
Fires of a ramdom chemical a target zombie, the chemical has a 10% chanceo of healing the zombie 25% chance of lgniting it on fire 5% chance of killing it outright a 10% chance of increasing its move and attack speed but decreasing its attack and armor massively. and a 50% chance of dealing a large amount of damage. cooldown and cost lowered by each level.

Injection
Injects an ally, pemanently increasing hitpoints by a small amount.

Combat IV
The Chem-Infantryman constructs himself a permanent IV system that increases hp regain and attack rate.

-Ultiamte- Prototype Chemical Hyperdose (PCH)
Give an ally a hyperdose of a rare new compund that gives them + 10 energy and hp Regain for 13 seconds.

My Story Idea:
2012(this date can be changed)A meteor is heading for earth,it causes a huge scare and panic until it gets close and scientist tell the world it will only it the earth as dust.The meteor hits the earth and like the scientist said it hits only as dust But the dust has a strange new parasite in it which Eats dead brain cells then produces live brain cells.bring the dead back to live.....sadly....They have a.....anger management problem
 
Cool idea but how about 2085?
(that way we can have some tech thats not normally there.)
and how about that instead of eating dead brain cells it eats live ones and then it grows instide the hosts brain, taking over. but the parasite cant manage the human body so it starts to rot?

Almost done with map! (Ten buildings have upstairs.)
