Name Additions

So I played that Mafia game and it got me thinking.
Can you add prefixes or suffixes to a player's name so that it would say

Ascartes the Destroyer or Mighty Ascartes

Just examples of course as I am neither of those.
But if possible, how would you do it?

Not possible in SC2.
The way Mafia did it is use it's own chat functions.
When a player types in something to say, it erases the chat, copies the text, and pastes it into the new chat window made by hand. The new text is allows prefixed by a text variable, set at the beginning of the game with the set name in-game command.

Changing player names is pointless and confusing.

If you want to change player names for dramatic effect you just need to abstract the players from their names with a middle level. Thus people can still use their account names to chat but the game can refer to them as someone else.

I wouldn't say adding a prefix or suffix to a name would be confusing. Maybe a different name entirely yes, but not just an addition to it.
Its for an RTS game, not an RPG, so the game doesn't refer to them. Just thought it'd be cool to be 'King "name" '
