Hey Hive, i was wondering, is it possible to make it so that when a player gets a certain hero, the heroes name is that of the players? For example, let's say you get the paladin hero, instead of the Blizzard names, the hero would be called Player 1 (or whatever the player who controls the hero is called). Is it possible?

Unfortunately, you need to have certain preset names from the Object Editor to use in game. Since it's impossible to accurately predict, in most cases, what a player's name will be (unless you change the player's name in game to a similar preset string) it is nearly impossible to do what you are asking for.

The only system I could think of for this would be to have certain preset hero names that correspond to in-game player forces. For instance, if you have an altered melee in which any side can pick any hero and you want the name to correspond to the side that picked him, this would be possible. But from what you're trying to do, it sounds impossible.

Sorry. :(
