The two combatants stood stearing at eachother, they circled around like two large cats. Illidan slashed out with his right blade, Hzznakh deflected and tried to trip Illidan over with his tail, but at no sucess. Illidan stabbed his left blade deep into Hzznakh's tail, who responded by driving the trident through Illidan's right arm. They both shouted in pain. They fighted for almost an hour, when Illidan suddenly jumped up in the air, turning all black and cloaked in dark smoke. "Hahahaha... Now, see my real powers!"

Illidan landed again, his skin all black and his tatoos glowing fel green. He slashed reckless at Hzznakh, who was forced to deflect and retereat against the wall. He took a strong hit in his shoulder, and the wound opened once again, but he didn't notice, all that mattered was to survive. He could see a crack in the wall, large enough for him to crawl down, and made his way for it. But Illidan had other plans, he sent a bolt of fel energy right at Hzznakh, who barely avoided a direct hit, and got showered in shrapnel. He slid down the crack in pain and made his way out as Illidan roared in victory.

Hzznakh was really happy for undead self-heal right now, he made his way up the mountains and away from Black Temple, it was too dangerous to stay. Going north, he hoped to find some sort of sanctuary in the nether too avoid any confrontation with both Illidan and Arthas.

When Hzznakh had crossed the mountain range, he could see the large void space between shadowmoon and hellfire, filled with pieces of shattered stone. But on one, large floating isle, he could see an old keep, built as a watchpost for Honor hold he thought.

Hzznakh made his way to the isle by hiding on a bypassing zeppelin, right now he was happy for Venture & co's new expedition force. He jumped off as it passed over the old keep, and landed on the main tower. He could sense something strange about this old keep. It was old, and the age had left some marks, but not a single part was razed, the keep was in great condition. And some of the torches still burned, as if someone or something kept the keep in condition. And he could not shake off the funny feeling of not being alone.

Having explored the keep, noticing it had the same design and layout of a human barracks, with the exception of the center roof which was exchanged with an extra storey and a Tower, Hzznakh was making himself at home in the main hall. He made himself a place to sleep in the corner, and made himself a throne of broken furniture and other rubble. "Hmm... There is no corpses around here, but i sense... spirits, lost and troubled spirits... vengeful spirits... I can use those." He said silently to himself.

In the dungeon, Hzznakh was making a pentagram ready for his binding ritual, he wanted to bend the spirits to his will, his own undying army. He lighted the candles and undonned his armor. He pushed the trident into the floor in the center of the pentagram and started speaking an old and forgotten tounge. Wailing spirits came out of the walls, most of them soldiers, a few healers and a Butcher. They started to gather around the pentagram, and their will essence was drained into the trident, silently they became slaves to Hzznakh's will.

Two days later, Hzznakh was planning to assassinate Lord Illidan. Having his own, nearly invisible army of deadly spirits would definately be an advantage. He planned to camouflage the spirits with his magic, making them invisible and silent, these would sneak into Lord Illidan's throne room, standing silently at the wall. As spirits did not make sounds, Lord Illidan would not sense them, and they would be an exellent back-up force. Hzznakh himself would sneak through the same crack he escaped through, and face Illidan Hand-to-Hand. The plan was bomb-proof.

lol The reason demon hunters make themselves blind is because their eyes can decieve them. They are trained to see the auras of demons and know where they are by tracking them. Illidan will see the spirits.
In Illidan's case, I think its more to do with the fact he has been in a Prison for 10,000ish years in the dark. It would make you blind lol.

In War of the Ancients trilogy. he joined the legion and, hoping to use their power against him, he was blinded. They didn't know at the time that he was plottiing against them, so they gave him his new sight. He currently has green fire in each eye socket, and since it really disturbs even Legion mages, etc. he used a blindfold. It was one of the Legion generals themselves that gave him the hellfire. Forgot which one though D:

Ooo thats interesting to know. In Warcraft III you can see normal eyes through the blindfold he wears lol.

I assume Blizzard don't pay much attention to their own storyline. Its totally screwed up all over the place.

"Lord Hzznakh, Operation Hunter Hunted on tracks. Stalkers have entered the throne room, the army only awaits your signal." The Spirit Commander said with hollow voice. "Good, I'll prepare the spell, send the army in 7 minutes." Hzznakh replied, now he was happy his army was partially mindless, as this plan had to be precisely executed.

Seven minutes later, the spell was executed, Hzznakh's army was undetectable. The army moved into the throne room undetected through the walls, and Hzznakh was ready to slip through the crack.

Hzznakh slid through, Illidan was not there at the moment, so the warlord took some time to evaluate strategic points. The only thing there was for him to worry about, was the edges where there were no walls, but if he could trick Illidan to forget his surroundings maybe... Suddenly the door burst open, and the Demon Hunter stood there. "So... The defeated returns, what makes you think you can beat me, I want to know!" "My liege, Arthas, wants you wiped of the surface of this world, and I, well I have some personal buisness to be settled. Hzzz..." Hzznakh said calm as he slowly slid towards the startled Demon-Elf.

"You... Shall not defeat me this time Demon." Hzznakh said calmly. "Why, why do you accept his control. You have your own will, I sence it. The Naga need a strong leader, why don't you join us." Illidan said, but his voice sounded... strange with his last words. "Betrayer..." Hzznakh whispered, and slid towards Illidan hizzing silently. "Very well, die then!" Illidan hurled himself at the Naga.

A dodge, a parry, a thrust, another parry, a deflection... The battle was tiresome, both combatants fighting with equally fierce strength. "I'm tired of this nonsense, die now!" Illidan whispered as he flew up in the air and shifted to demon form. The old skull he had in his belt glowed fiercely. Hzznakh had prepared for this moment, "Now!" The command was only in his mind, but the spirits responded instantly. Almost a hundred crossbow bolts was fired at the hovering demon instantly, and he roared in pain. "What?! I... Deciever!" "Oh, deciever am I? I'm only using your tactics mylord." Hzznakh said, pleased by Illidan's surprise. Illidan landed, and 400 undying warriors stormed the demon. "Never underestimate your... own kind."

Hzznakh had the upper hand now, but not for long, the spirits was fought off by the resilent Demon Hunter. "Remember your own words Naga, they might be your last." Illidan whispered. "Hardly." Hzznakh replied. He hurled himself at the Demon hunter and viciously tore his trident through Elvish flesh. Illidan growled in pain, but striked out with his blade and hit Hzznakh's shoulder. "I begin to hate that!" He growled. He was reckless about his own life right now, victory or death was the only choice he had. He slashed viciously, but Illidan deflected it easily, and Hzznakh barely dodged the next thrust.

Hzznakh slashed out again, and hit Illidan right abowe his knee, Illidan sliced back, and hit the Naga's tail, who slid agile around the Demon and pierced the trident up Illidan's ribs. Illidan kicked the naga in his face, this was not a gentleman fight. Hzznakh tried to thrust his trident up Illidan's spine, but the demon turned around, and the trident hit his thigh. Illidan hit Hzznakh's neck, who almost fell over to the ground, but in a last feat of strength, he threw his trident and hit Illidan between his legs. Illidan fell over to the floor loosing his blades. Hzznakh could see that the pain was unbearable. He hurled himself at the Demon-Elf's neck and bit him in the throat. "A man does what a man can do, Illidan. Never expect a fair fight." The Demon Hunter took a last breath and died.

lol snake-method. Either that, or they have a special "Queen" that acts as a hatchery and lays all of the Naga eggs and is, herself, more octopus-like :p (could probably make a building out of that idea...)

lol a genetically modified hatcher Queen. XD Does not rule the Naga at all but is the "Queen" of the Naga cause she lays the eggs. :p Frees a lot of time from having all your soldeirs leaving their stations to mate :3

She's like a rabbit that requires no mates :p

Hzznakh had killed the Demon Elf, but his new concern was his former Queen, Vasj, he wanted to show her that he was supreme and regain power over the naga of outland. most of his spirit army had perished in the battle with Illidan, but his 7 most powerful warriors was alive, the problem was to figure out how to keep them alive, somehow link them to his spirit. He started to think about the red stones he had seen around the shores of the Barrens, if he only could remember the name. He knew that the stones had powerful magical properties, and if he made some kind of Phylactery out of them, maybe he could manage to make them immortal.

yep lol I finished it. It was actually a dream I had (really! I was asleep :p I had to keep redoing the battle as another soldier (sometimes bloodelf) would actually spear me down, trying to aim for someone else lol So, I can't really add to it unless I have a continuation of the dream, but I think it'd ruin it :p

"Many years have passed since the Ilidans defeat in Northrend.During that time in Melestorm there was one Naga who was different from the rest.He was know as Sej'zar
By appearance he looked like most of the male naga but his mind was above all of them.He remembered the times before the change...He remembered the mistakes they made...But most importantly he remembered who did this to them..."

"Sej'Zer first battle where he learned combat was in war with Makrura. Some even say that it was Sej'zars actions that prevailed over crab people. But he himself wasn't satisfied. He knew that makrura don't pose much treat to Naga empire. Many young naga inspired by his victories started to worship him and even some of the commanders were proud of him.But some however considered him reckless and full of mad ideas that were corrupting the young. Most important oppressor was high lord Kraliz..."
