No it's based of the official flash game art variants in which to my knowledge you can't be a brony, but there is a brony template on deviantart, if you fancy drawing/colouring.. (I posted the link a while back)

The era in technology seems like it's in a constant flux
Though if you notice all modes of transportation run on horse-power (literally), so the first thing that comes to mind when you say car is something a-kin to the cars from the Flintstones (sort of like the snowploughs used in winter wrap-up?).

And as for the train, it's odd as though you could see it wasn't putting out any smoke (if I remember correctly), it was making steam sounds - inferring that it was running on some form of power. It seems as though electricity hasn't been discovered yet in the show though (or has it? They had working cameras so....).

The Ponyverse is so difficult to understand, I mean how come they had vehicles even though they haven't achieve the source of electric technology? how come we can all see they use trucks, trains, even gyro made contraptions without the aid of gasoline? or better yet, electricity during there shows? Is this another Fantasy-based concept from the makers telling us the world of fantasy is unbelievably impossible? or are they showing us that fossil fuel is not the main source of our daily needs but our primary resources as well? come to think of it, Lauren Faust is a eco-friendly person.
