My First Serious Terrain

Meh, I've been home all day due to injuries when I want to be at the skate-park, so I decided to batch up some terrain, made in the UTM.

It started as just an abandoned mine and flew off from there.

NOTE: Photoshop was used in this terrain ONLY to cover the seams between the Abyss tiles.

Uh,,, that looks more like a dark hole than a mine.

I mean eh seriuzly. Build the mine "roof" with doodads instead, becasue then you can add a little "indoor" enviroment" which probably will increase the overall look a lot.

also.. why is there grass growing on (and even through) that big tree log?

Personally, i prefer the background and the sunset to the mine itself, i think it was really well done and the height variation and doodads go well with the sunset :)
But however, the mine wasn't as good, you should probably do the interior or push the hole in a bit further 'cos it just looks like darkened grass or shade.
