So i have been working on a map now since 2010 or so and i have not encountered this before. Yesterday when working on it, i was working on a trigger which was giving me some difficulty which involved a custom script. I decided that instead of getting pissed off, i would close down shop for the day and do something else.

Well today when i tried to open my map again i get the message:

_____________________________________________________________
Unable to load file <My map>

- Level Info data missing or invalid

_____________________________________________________________

So i searched around google and such to find a solution and found out that people sometimes use a similar method to protect their maps. Did i accidentally make a trigger which blocked me out of being able to access my map? and is there a way to reverse it without me having to go back a couple of backups and redo a couple of days work?

The trigger i was working on was a spell trigger so i have no idea how i managed to F-UP this badly. Any help is appreciated

Your map was most-likely saved faulty and therefore lost data. Level info data is like the first data the editor tries to access, so probably the whole file is destroyed. Well, you can upload the map so we can take a look into it with an MPQ Editor. If you are using JNGP, each time it saves, it creates a backup in jassnewgenpack\backups.

Thank you for the offer, luckily IcemanBo's suggestion worked and such complications will not have to be applied. Thank you for your offer and the quick response, +1
