Level info data missing or invalid - can't open my map!

So I had this map "High Elves" I had been working on. Now suddenly, when I
tried to open it like a moment ago it just shows :
"Unable to load file 'C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Maps\High Elves.w3x'
- Level info data missing or invalid."

It basically won't open in the editor anymore, it just displays that error
message which makes me pretty pissed. The only things I had imported
were some random skins, mostly by 67chrome and some by me.
So yeah, I had worked on that map for quite a while now and would like to
know if there's anything I can do to get it back working.

Looks like it got corrupted by some texture/model or whatever.
Go to your Test Map folder and retrieve the "TestMap.w3x", if that was the last one to test. Basically, every time that you test a map, a back up file is created, called TestMap.w3XXX.

There are tools (MPQ Browsers) that can retrieve the map's components, but nothing more. I never tried it so I can't perfectly guide you here. I did save a lot of maps with TestMap though.

if you're using JNGP, you would also most probably have backups of the map coz if the create backup option is enabled, JNGP creates a backup everytime you save the map... though its named from a-z so you need to check it out one by one...
