Level info data missing or invalid problem

Whenever I open my map, It says Level info data missing or invalid. I checked my test map folders and checked the last one, but it wasn't it. I also tried opening it with an MPQ Editor but it doesn't seem to open.
Help would be very much appreciated. I also don't have any backups of it.
The map is also attached.

It seems like;
-You protected it.
-You corrupted it.
I would suggest deprotecting it but it is banned on Hives so please google for another site.

I did not protect it. So maybe it was corrupted.

This has happened to me before mainly because I screw around with the the map and do things that actualy would corrupt the map but its most likely an imported file that has been corrupted that has spread.

I was thinking that it was an imported file. But still, I dont know how to remove it. I saw that you need an MPQ Editor or something like that and open it. But it doesn't open it.

Cause its corrupted so only thing you can do it restart from older version if you have it,

Well I cracked it ... but thanks to this error only some pieces of s**t remains which are not useable.
So only thing left and it's hard to say: "Have fun with remake this map by hand" - well that's why you should always have a backup of a map =)

If you are using Windows 7 you might be able to restore the file or folder via shadow copy to a previous version.

lol DSG I said that before on a different thread and no reply xD. and I think it only backs up to a month max? Anyway thats why I always save many of my maps.

It backs up ever time a new system restore is made.
This is atleast once a week as microsoft releases updates abot every week and then you should also have it making restore points naturally every week.

Sadly Windows XP does not have such a good back up feature. Although system restore might revert the map it is not garunteed and it might revert other changes you do not want reverted.

You cauld back up the system on a portable hardrive, but that takes some hours.

To finally close this topic^^:

No! - Well you can but the use of it is near 0 because this one corrupts the map and while cracking the map broke to much.

Remake your map from beginning (hard but sorry) and then make sure you always have a backup of it - best on an external disk, or USB or whatever.
