Mirror Image spell idea, need help pls

Hi there, I am looking for a way to edit the Mirror Image spell so casting unit does that cool mirror image effect and splits into two units, the only thing is I want to replace the summoned "fake" unit with a different unit.

Is this possible? From what I can see there is no way to detect when the fake image has been created and no way to replace it with my custom unit.

Use Storm, Earth and Fire. It's somewhat similar and has that functionality.

What you meant be "replaced", do you still want the "replaced" unit to be illusion ?

Why not just use Storm Earth and Fire?

Storm earth and fire copies deal damage he got to fix that

How about a DDS?

Storm earth and fire copies deal damage, but only if you let them. You can just make 2 unit types, of which one deals no damage. Possibly through a DDS filtering out all damage by the copy.

Oh I want the summoned unit to cause damage so using storm, earth and fire will work great!
