Mini-mapping contest #9 : Cinematic OR Farming

Well if you read back, we already talked about it.

You dont have to understand Farming in a strict way (only grow vegetables), but anything related to gathering a resource can be considered farming.

In a farming map you have to collect resources in order to win.

For example: Soul eating Demons kill innocent citizens. Collect 3000 souls to summon the great Dark Lord.
or
The winter is coming, and you have to stack as much food as you can; grow food or hunt in the forest. In the winter you have to survive a few waves using your collected goods.
or even a Religion crusade with other players to be the dominating religion in the area could be considered Farming, if you have to proselytize more and more citizens in order to get stronger.

I would be interested to see the maps in this contest. Although I would probably not be participating in this one as I would like to finish off a lot of my old projects.

It would be hard to compare a tomato to a potato when it comes to judging.

I doubt there are enough active mappers for two parallel mapping contests. Better pick one of the themes, namely the one a majority prefers.

Fair enough. We could either redo the voting (it's terribly outdated and most of the voters won't participate anyway), or possibly come up with a third theme on which a larger majority could agree.
