Maps Section working

You will have to set the value "Always Logged In" when logging in, in order to stay logged in though...

Its nice, epicwar like. But does this mean there wont be anymore the aproved/not'yet'aproved categories? I kinda liked that. Now that you submit a map, it just gets sucked in somewhere, I guess it goes to the wait list to be aproved, but I'll bet many people will submit their maps 10 times and wonder why it doesnt show up anywhere.

I think that's what the "Labels" will be for...so you can group maps by similar labels.

However, newbies won't bother to fill that. The truth is that no one will want newbie maps for anything, but I fear people won't know how to use Labels

Yeah, we are using the label system, it is working but you cant sort your maps by it yet.

BTW, you can't submit the same map more than once..

No, but you can submit multiple versions of the same map.

Yeah, there's no Submitter's Name. By the way, if you can't edit the file for your maps (so you can re-upload them without needing moderators to delete old versions), then you should be able to. By doing this the map would be re-uploaded with the new file and other information and brought back to the top of the list after they are approved so people won't be constantly Uploading new maps just to bring them back to the first place.

And there's no "Back to Resource Section" or "Back to Forums" buttons... yet? Will they be added after all the Resource Sections are complete?

When will the wc3sear.ch maps be added to that archive? The downloads were disabled on the original site. I'm assuming it was because they are being moved over here...

That's excellent! I was missing Wc3search's cinematics. Retribution, Shipwreck, and that Vengeance cinematic by Infrane and Anitarf.

I lost them all when I re-installed windows.

If your referring to the wc3search campaigns, they will be transfered to The Hive aswell, we just have to wait.

Things seem to be working out fine, H)ells_HunterX:

The name wc3s is dead. The php scripts by darky are dead. The community and the resources are however still alive

About that new map section - yes thats GREAT, need only few more updates... I coming to hive almost every day, but I dont see any new resources( except maybe maps ), what a problem? The wc3sear had a lot of icons, maps and etc. wich are not here. When that resources will be moved?

the system is tougher here, and more different, many of the people that do resources have left or moved.
and wc3sears icons were like. 90% cnp, or recolour.
