Maphack Problem {how to detect maphack?}

Many people know,what is maphack,it can see the whole map,can see unit's ability and any things,but how can i detect,except using Cover In Fog,but the maphacker can CLEAR ALL FOG and click it,any ideas?

Your question isn't very clear.
I do not support maphack, but one little google search was enough to find maphack.
So, here you go. The first thread might solve all your problems.

Either way, next time: do that yourself. I want this forum to be about the World Editor, not about third-party tools for Warcraft (which, by the way, aren't really legal).

I think he's asking how to detect when a player is using maphack, not
how to use a maphack.

it is, I read somewhere before that if you made a invisble unit with corrupted model, it will crush maphackers only (make sure that unit can't be seem normal)

corrupted model would just show up as a cube

and that anti maphack can only detect selections and orders

you could create an object which covers the entire map but is only visible with maphack (placed in a region where no player should have sight of)
this would occupy the view for maphackers

Just LOL at them as their CDkeys get banned shorly after from battlenet. Due to popular demand, such forms of map hack as the omi sight and view other units will get you banned even when used in custom games.

I miss them for testing maps... Sigh.

If you play your map on Garena just report the user and he/she will get banned will will eventually learn her/his lesson. There is no use in putting effort into things like this if it can happen to every other map.

reporting on garena is useless, they don't take action against cheat pack most of the time

I recall Parasite 2 had some system that alerted if some player is seeing the entire map (With cheats or maphack).

hmm...Cheat pack is more worse than map hack, i see someone play a 'hacked' map with some 'word' he can barely seen with god like item, and his lv at max...Well, i agree with 'occupy' line of sight of map hacker, seems it is the only way, and, i have implemented a 'anti map display' in my map, it makes everytime a player type, even open the map with mh, the map still black and unexplored, tough it needs custom mini map, as map hack reveals mini map..

No, I meant those original blizzard singleplayer cheats. Once I wanted to play Parasite 2 in singleplayer, so when I revealed the map an alert that I'm cheating because I see an entire map appeared all the time before I turned off the cheat.

That's easy, a single trigger will doI have created the same, but it will never alert for maphack

Well, depending from a map it will. Like shall we say if there are some closed areas you can't reveal in any way. So if player sees them, alert others he's cheating.

hmm.., ah, i remembered, drakonia orpg use the 'if some unit revealed, close back all area', it's open source i think

Yea, something like that... plus a warning message should appear, something like "Warning, player [name] is cheating!". You could also make so if a player reveals entire map twice, he gets kicked.

If i can,I would prefer give him 'the mighty fatal error', haha, that, would make player think twice before using map hack, btw, is there any vjass, jass, or anything inside the we that can make this?
