Why can't I create a map that its map size is bigger than 8 MB??? PLease give me an answer as soon as possible. I've encountered this annoying problem for a long time!!

Map cannot be larger than 8mb

Warcraft 3 only supports up to 8mb large maps for online play, singleplayer ones don't have a limit.

But I do found some multiplayer maps that is larger than 8 MB, how about that?

That's impossible 
They may be playable by more than one player, but it cannot be hosted on battle.net/LAN.
Also moved the thread to WEHZ and renamed it.
