The Mana Gathering Development Thread A capture the point with a little twist. This map is a team focused 6v6 pvp capture the point like game, where you search and gather mana from randomly placed mana sources to fill your teams fountain as the first one. check out the latest version on the map resources thread Mana Gathering InformationScreenshotsChangelogCreditsAutor's NoteI started this map by the mini mapping contest by Waterknight at this time it was known as "water gathering". I enjoyed the concept of the gameplay to use mana as the points you have to find and collect as well as the idea of the roles, so I decided to throw all the unessesary systems out, add new well established system allmosts ones made by Bribe and give the map a complete overhaul. At the moment the map arrived the playable state but has still bugs and upcoming features maybe sometimes it's both in one... The terrain is complete while I think about to take another look on it for the playabillity. It is a 2 teams game where you can decide if you want to fight the enemy team or just try to be better, faster, stronger and win without combat. It should be best with 8 players plus so every role can be picked by both teams. the roles are:
v.08 -Added the quicken walk move speed increasemen. -Changed the 'mana control' ability so it gived aditional maximum mana. -Fixed the bug that sources want be killed when out of mana. -Added time display to the multi board. -Changed the mana o' meter so it doesn't count after game end. -Overworked the weather system and added the infos in the questlog menu. -Changed the Hero creation so when a hero is created the teams fountains mana is reduced for more fairnes by uneven team sizes. v.09 -Added the camera system, all comand can be seen in the questlog -Increased the fountains maximum mana for a longer gameplay. -Fixed some bugs. v.1.0 First official publishing. v.1.1 -Added more buffs for abilities, for more information. -Changed source maximum mana from 800 to 400. -Changed treants unit name and hero names. -Changed the descriptions of the abilities. -Changed the multie board width. -Fixed source remove trigger, so it removes sources with 0 mana.
