Mana drain and Life drain on the same spell

I would like to have the spell function as it SEEMS to: fill out the values and it drains both, however it's only draining the one (the one the core spell is based on). Am I gonna have to give up/do fuggin' triggering, or is there a simple solution I simple do not know?

To be clear, I spent like 20 minutes looking for an answer. It's all people asking about the old "why is one going instead of the other!?" question.

I just tested this on new map and I have no issues. I've based the spell off "Drain Life (Neutral Hostile)", filled in 'Data - Mana Points Drained' and my unit was draining both hp and mp.
