Make a dummy 'Metemorphisis' spell so the unit changes into a gryphon rider.
Event-
-Unit starts the effect of an ability
Conditions-
-Ability being Cast = *YOURSPELL*
Actionz-
-Set Target unit of ability being cast = *TARGERVAR*
-Add *DUMMYMETASPELL* to *TARGETVAR
-Remove *DUMMY UNIT SPELL* from *TARGETVAR*
-=THIS ENABLES YOU TO CHANGE THE UNIT'S FLIGHT HEIGHT, etc.=-
This trick doesn't make units REAL flying. It just makes the flying trick work. THe unit cannot fly for good and it acts as a ground unit. To make it fly for good, you need to replace the unit with the same but with the capacity to fly.
No offence, that is the most idiotic thing ever, and I would like to know who first got the idea of making a custom spell, that actually uses map space, when you can use MEDIIVH'S CROW FORM ABILITY that is in the game from the start.
