I tested the map...it was just a bunch of random terrain and mobs.

Uh... come on, guys...

The initial post was asking if "this" (magic the gathering--you know, from the title of the post...) is possible to make. So, no, it isn't made yet in my map. (Otherwise I wouldn't be asking if it was possible or worthwhile to make; let alone if someone wanted to help make it.)

The map is not just a bunch of random terrains, etc.--

It is actually the ground floor of what I was considering making, of what I wanted opinions about. It's the layout I envision for how the map could be structured; the terrain, regions, etc. If you've ever played Magic the Gathering, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out which things are which (especially if you look at the region pallet and the names of the regions): there needs to be a "table," a "hand," a "deck," a "graveyard," players, different areas of the table for mana, creatures, and more.

If you don't know anything about Magic the Gathering, you can look it up to see what I'm talking about.

Mechanical Man, do you have any evidence that it's already been done (I mean, evidence of more weight than your claim that it's been done; a link to a map, for example)?

I'm a player of MtG, but I think the terrain must be more smaller to see all the board.
In this version , you run accross the map and you don't see the link with MtG.

Maybe the lead camera show the board.
You have a button to press to see graveyard or exiled cards, it is easy to do.

The problem is how to depict the tapped lands, attacking and blocking creactures?
And how creat the phases games (unkeep, draw phase, main and battle phase...)

Good feedback, Vincent.

Tapped Mana: Wisps that move from one area of a pen to another.

Attacking and blocking creatures: creatures placed in the paths. When attacking and not blocked they hit the opponent player once then retreat. When blocked (when a creature is placed in their path), they hit the blocking creature once and retreat.

Phases: Player moves through certain regions around him.

Map size and camera: well, if it's too small it will look dumb and pointless (you won't be able to see the action). On the other hand, if it's too big, you risk the problem you talked about.
