Game Formerly Known as LoaP Power Ultimate, LoaP Ascension 6.0 was the Sequel of LoaP Power Ultimate 50K

This LoaP was created as a Hybrid form of LoaP bringing both the Original LoaP Experience and Atmosphere but also adding in traditional RPG aspects to grow and ascend your hero, most of the original LoaP Jobs are in the game but with major renovations, but there are dozens of New Jobs built from the ground up to try out.

There are several trade centers, a casino for gambling, a carnival to play games and win prizes, and a expensive country club for the most wealthy of players to buy powerful items at, however the most powerful items can only be found in the most dangerous places...

Build your own Gang to take control of the city, Start a Zombie Pandemic, Cause a Alien Invasion, Start your own Samurai Dojo, Adventure into the Forest and Hunt Dangerous Bosses, Compete in the PvE and the PvP Arenas for Glory.. and Cash, Grow your Hero's Power and Ascend!

This Game provides a massive amount of hero customization.
First You pick the Model of your hero with the primary stat you want.
Secondly You visit the Spellshop and train up to 5 spells out of Dozens of Unique Spells, Every spell can be upgraded up to Level 4.
Examples of a few jobs in the game:
Governor:- Largest Auto-income, passes laws allowing other player jobs to unlock new upgrades and cause new events in the city, has a vault that can be robbed!
Mayor:- Receives a large Auto-income, attempts to persuade/bribe Assembly Members for approval rating, which allows him to Open Jail Cells and attempt to Steal Money from the city's funds.
Area 52:- Researches, eventually triggers a global zombie invasion, researches how to control the zombies and then finally researches out how to clean up the zombie hordes they released on the world.
Scientist:- Researches aliens causing a invasion, opens an advanced aircraft shop & Sets up citywide CO2 Recyclers, which permanently increases Hero experience gain for everyone in the game.
Doctor:- Kill germs for a small income, if your hero kills it you get more than if anything else kills it, sell powerful medical items to players and rescue injured civilians with the ambulance.
Druggy, Mafia, Police:- Similar to every LoaP, only enhanced. Kill each other, sell drugs, use your cash to purchase reinforcements, capture each-others control points.
Airforce:- Produces Helicopters, Transports Toxic Crates to Burn, protects the city from airborne attacks, gets promotions for defending the city successfully.
Monster Hunter:- Accept contracts for killing certain bosses, kill monsters anywhere you can find them for additional income, great for the RPG Enthusiast.
Farmer:- Take crops and drop them in the Silo, or feed them to the pigs.
Morgue:- Take the body and put it in the fire, simple part-time job for cash.
Miner:- You get your miners to "Mine" Crystal Formations within the mine and bring the Gems they drop to the Gem Shop.
Assassin:- Builds special units, Kills other player's hero's for income, can also do a Assassination Target Mission every couple minutes.
Blacksmith:- Combine materials with a forge to make powerful weapons and armor.
Army:- Small income, constantly attacked by mutants from the forest, fight the Terrorists in the Demolition Zone for additional income, gain promotions and a permanent pension for successfully defending the city from mutant attacks.
Terrorist:- Small automatic income, fight the Marines in the Demolition Zone for income, cause chaos around the city, destroy vital infrastructure and kill indiscriminately.
BurgerHut:- Combine different ingredients to make different burgers which increase stats for player heroes, take the trash out.
Navy:- Hunt down and destroy enemy ships and monstrous Kaiju's keeping the sea safe for other players, protect the cruise ship from attack, receives promotions for destroying pirate ships.
Ezco Corporation:- Research Robotics, Sell Weapons & Activate your company's brand new power station by successfully lobbying the governor.
Casino:- Persuade players to buy your Scratch off tickets or play your Slot Machines, you get money for every play or purchase, you can win or lose money, if they win, you lose money, Has a underground vault that must be protected.

Examples of some of the Heroes you can unlock by killing bosses, completing events and discovering secrets:
  • Nemesis "Zombie Hero": Summons hordes of zombies, also has poison ability's.
  • Alien "Alien Hero": Evolves into either a ranged or melee alien.
  • Fire archer: A skeleton archer hero, which is a serious pyromaniac.
  • Shadow Archer: Is what happens when a fire archer is consumed by the shadow.
  • Vampire: A vampire hero, leaches health from foes, summons minions.
  • Lich: A cold evil creature. Has strong summons, and a powerful shield.
  • Ninja: Stealthy, Quick & Crafty, utilizes poisons and speed boosts, specializes in quick light attacks.
  • Cyborg: A hero with serious brute force, fast attack speed and damage, has strong AOE's.
  • Holy Priest: A Priest with many powerful healing ability's, that are almost equally as deadly too.
  • Mutant: A Powerful Mutant, slows down its enemy's and destroys them with slow, powerful melee attacks.
  • Ascended: The Final End-Game Hero, can teleport anywhere in the map instantly, has powerful cult followers, hardest hero to unlock in the game, is practically a god but can still be defeated.

7.03 *Tiny Update*

  • Level Requirement for Mutant Charm spell increased.
  • Second Hostile Gang Added to the upper right corner of the city.
7.02 *Small Hotfix*
  • Templar's now respawn.
  • Spawn Sacrifices for Final boss reduced from 60 to 16, you can now send adopted children (Purchased from malls) to the shrine yourself to add to the counter as a secondary way to trigger this boss event if needed.
  • Top Left shrine trigger can now only be activated once.
  • Gold Rewards for killing various monsters adjusted.
7.01 *Bug Hotfix*
  • Respawn Limiters added to Cave Vampires
  • Hellhounds are now Flameborn and have a new custom model.
  • Lord of Corruption Boss now uses a Necromancer model instead of an Infernal
7.0 *Map Expansion and Modernization*
  • Map Expanded In Every Direction
  • Major Expansion of the Forest, new bosses, new landscapes and new secrets.
  • Forest Layout Improved, some of the weaker bosses have been re-positioned closer to the entrances.
  • Two New Mega-Mansions added to the southeast edge of the city, live life like a bezos.
  • Camera System removed from the game, thanks to blizzards new camera changes this system has become irrelevant.
6.711 *Minor Performance Patch*
  1. Added PvP Arena announcer dialog
  2. Reduced maximum zombies from 160 to 110
  3. All Area 52 Research now takes longer, the scientist research that spawns aliens now takes longer.
  4. Alien Hero ability's changed to reduce performance impact on the game, additional level to new spells and base alien hero stats and gains buffed.
6.710 *Minor Improvements Patch*
  1. Removed the Ripple effect from the staff of creation's award, also removed the requirement that your hero is a Reaper, you can be any hero to create it now.
  2. A minor rather moronic easter egg added for entertainment purposes, we now know why the cultists are insane
  3. The Ninja boss is no longer a hero, has received minor buffs.
  4. Ninja Hero Poison Strike replaced with Poison Bomb, ninja hero also now has passive shadow meld.
  5. The PvP Arena System has been completely redesigned from scratch, no more dialog boxes instead it now requires both hero's stand in the circles to begin the match, the pvp arena also now accepts pets.
  6. PvP Arena will also now auto dis-ally the other player and auto-really that player when the match is over.
6.79 *Stability Patch*
  1. Attacking the trees where the monster hunter infernal boss spawns, while he spawns, no longer causes the game to crash.
  2. The weather system and the events triggered every 5 minutes are now nested inside of the primary world income trigger, cutting down the reoccuring trigger que by 66%
  3. The 5 primary triggers that set up the game at the beginning have been merged into one, this appears to reduce that initial lagspike after initially starting the game.

6.78 *Tiny Bug Patch*
  1. Removed 3 things potentially involved with selection bug from game initialization
  2. Changed the way the peasants interact with your click also in an attempt to fix the rare selection bug
  3. Fixed one line of dialog text from peasant clicks
  4. Clicking a peasant no longer shows the speaking indicator if you are out of range.
6.77 *Bug Patch*
  1. Fixed an issue with the Ninja unlockable hero, also changed spawn location of the miniboss.
  2. Club NPC's no longer cost food and you no longer take control of a dancing peasant when purchasing a club.
  3. Dojo Samurais should now respawn one minute after dying
  4. Advanced Drug Barn should now transfer to the job holder correctly, Drug Runners are no longer automatically upgraded to Experienced Drug Runners.
  5. Experienced Drug Runners no longer have an attack, but have slightly increased health and movement speed.
  6. Black Bear pet is now a Polar Bear, Richman club elephant can no longer escape from a small gap on the bottom of his pen.
  7. Purifier Chaingun Tower no longer requires "Default String" to build
  8. Mutant Heart now correctly has a Reincarnation effect, however it only has 8 charges of it now.
  9. All Drugs now share a 4 Second Cooldown down from 8
6.76 *Bug Patch*
  1. Fixed a bug where newly purchased vehicles could get stuck
  2. Fixed a bug where the apartment realtor was selling a riderless horse instead of the apartment.
  3. Tons of additional fish now roam in shallow waters, many birds have shown up in the city and some coastal areas have grown additional seaweeds.
  4. Primary Stat gives 1 damage/stat again, didn't like how anything below 1 shows up as "0" by the wc3 client.

  1. Maximum Hero level is now 1000 up from 100, MOAR POWA!
  2. The games 5 Minute +50% hero experience boost reduced to +25%
  3. Intelligence points now give additional mana and regeneration.
  4. Primary Stat attack damage bonus reduced 25%
  5. Health per Strength reduced 25%.
  6. Experience gain range reduced from 4000 to 3000.
  7. Tank Descriptions improved slightly, all tanks now have a taunt ability.
6.74 *Minor Patch*
  1. You can now display a Situation Report from your Medical Bed in the Hospital.
  2. During the Alien Invasion Peasant and Street Cop Respawn rates are now slowed down substantially.
  3. Taxi "items" now have unique Icons for easy memorization
  4. All Boats and Warships have received rebalancing, new ability's and description improvements, a new high end Yacht for sea transport is now on sale.
  5. Overhaul of Ezco Units all of them Renamed and Rebalanced with New Ability's and their costs reduced substantially.
  6. Improvements to Gangs, Units now have unique ability's that makes each one more useful in different scenarios.
  7. Gang Minelayer Mines now scale with the global damage buff, mines are now targeted as ground units and have a permanent stealth ability.
6.73 *Minor Patch*
  1. Secret/Unlockable Heroes have had their ability's updated to use the new ability hotkey scheme (Centering all hotkeys around wasd)
  2. Many memory leaks fixed, likely eliminating hundreds of leaks per hour especially in multiplayer.
  3. More improvements to the alien invasion system to prevent game instability.
  4. New Turret Model Added, multiple job based towers now use it.
  5. Waste Management Building now has a southern entrance.
  6. Town Police will now display a exclamation mark above their head when under attack or responding to a attack.
  7. Riot Random Event fixed, rioters where spawning in the wrong area.
  8. Cartels enforcers can now be trained., Cartel now builds harvesters and researches harvesting upgrades from the building in the harvesting room instead of the office.
  9. A player who isn't a member of the mafia can no longer turn in the crate of weapons.
  10. Impeaching the governor should no longer include computer players in the vote.
  11. Many units across the game have received new ability's and description updates
  12. Reviving at the Hospital now costs 5% of your total gold instead of $1500 and a Situation Report displays on revive.
6.72 *Minor Patch*
  1. Police Station Reorganized a little, now only has two jail cells instead of three and a new street between the police HQ and the Dump has been built.
  2. The Germ Room in the Hospital and Much of the Police Station are now Air-Accessible

  4. Replaced most town police with "Street Cops" they will remain in towns control, they will respawn like peasants, killing them will give you a warrant.
  5. Attacking street cops or peasants will cause all nearby cops to attack you, and have a chance to call for reinforcements who will also attack you.
  6. Many new street cops have been employed across the city
  7. Peasants and Street Cops who spawn in certain locations like the middle of a lake will now die instantly and attempt to respawn in a decent location again.
  8. Assassin Auto-Income reduced from 10 to 5, is now only eligible for the 300% bounty bonus after holding the job for 2 minutes and can no longer purchase bounty's on other players, only collect them.
  9. You can no longer place a bounty on yourself.
  10. Many new street cops have been employed across the city and Town now also receives Unit Upgrades every 5 minutes, making various town units more capable of defending the city.
  11. Fixed a potential crash with a mutant hero ability
  12. Switched all internal wait times to game time instead of computer time, to hopefully improve multiplayer sync.
  13. Made more improvements to the alien invasion to spread out the performance impact of all of the units spawning in.
  14. Samurai Dojo NPC's should now respawn correctly.
  15. Hospital Germs Dislike Aircraft, and now evade 50% of attacks up from 33%.
  16. Casino Auto-Income increased from 40 to 55, Now only loses 50% the winnings when someone wins a scratch-off ticket.
  17. Every 5 Minutes the Casino Owner receives $1 to auto-income, FOR LIFE, even if they quit the casino they retain this income permanently.
6.71 *Minor Bug Patch*
  1. Taking police job no longer gives you control of the garbageman job circle
  2. Quitting the police job now correctly removes control of the northern station
  3. The Disgusting Egg from the spider boss is now targetable
  4. The second bank check tied to the Thief job also can only be picked up by Thief or Bank job holders
  5. "Theif" spelling error corrected, assassin quit text simplified to waste less of your screen.
  6. Killing your own hero should no longer trigger the popup saying bounty was awarded.
  7. Assassin Hero Killing income increased from $350 to $500, and Assassin can no longer assassinate himself.
  8. Minelayers also now receives a upgraded Explode spell based on the level of the damage upgrade and no longer receive armor upgrades.
  9. A redundant upgrade removed from gangs, the first zombie based upgrade renamed.
  10. Control Points now benefit from Upgrades
  11. If the Alien Mothership is alive after 3 minutes a broadcast will show up and will alert players via minimap that the mothership is at the park.
6.7 *Major Feature Update*
  1. Random Weather System added, there's a chance of different weather patterns every 2 minutes, there's a 50% chance of weather.
  2. Combined Camera Slider System added to the game, thanks to Sabe from The Hive Workshop, default camera distance is now 1900 instead of 2000.
  3. Player Bounty System added to the game, multiple discrete vendor locations across the map.
  4. New Commands -bounty hide/show -warrant hide/show will collapse or bring back the menu, (same menu for both commands)
  5. Added Warrant System, +1 Warrant for killing any Town, Passive Unit or Player Owned unit from a player who has Zero Warrants, killing another players hero without outstanding warrants is +5 warrants.
  6. Police Job now receives $100 Per Warrant when a Hero Purchases Bail from Jail, serving jail time and purchasing bail clears all outstanding warrants.
  7. Lawyer added to the Divorce Building, allows you to pay to clear your outstanding warrants at a price of 50 gold per warrant.
  8. Assassin Job Holder Receives 300% Bounty Reward
  9. Golem of Earth, Patient Zero, Mutated Wildlife now have models that work with classic wc3.
  10. Bank Checks can now only be picked up by the Bank or Thief job holders.
  11. The Hospital with the exception of the germ room now allows air travel.
  12. Increased the size of vehicles slightly
  13. Talking Villagers and Police will now turn towards your hero when speaking, also added Wc3's speaking unit indicator.
  14. Construction Buildings of Police/Mafia/Cartel are now frozen when they lose control of their respective control point.
  15. The South Entrance Defense Tower also gets frozen when their control point is lost, to prevent that tower from attacking the captured control point.
  16. Disco Floors now provide a very small experience gain every ten seconds to any hero standing on them
  17. There are now varying chances that the Thief will be caught and receive warrants for stealing job items and the tank heist.
  18. Mafia now has a 20% chance to receive warrants for receiving illegal weapon shipments.
  19. Cartel now has a 20% chance to receive warrants for rapid drug selloffs.
  20. Terrorist Killing the Cruise Ship now causes 60 Warrants to be issued for their arrest.
  21. Robbing banks now has a near 50/50 chance to lead to more than a dozen warrant for your arrest.
  22. Spider Boss, Patient Zero and Golem of Earth Bosses can now target Air Units more effectively.
  23. Most Zombie Units and Z-Virus Tank Collision Sizes Reduced
  24. Game Food Limit Increased from 250 to 300.

  40. Instead of spawning on Peasants Aliens now build 7 Teleporters around the city, where a new alien spawns in every 10 seconds and roams to a random map location, the teleporters must be killed to end the invasion.

  42. Boss Re-spawn and Item Drop systems cleaned, organized and several memory leaks fixed.
  43. Suicide Bomber Upgrade removed from Terrorist Job, the Explode Ability now scales with the Global Unit Damage Upgrades, has 100 levels, but can no longer benefit from global armor upgrades.
  44. Fixed multiple major point leaks dealing with zombie movement and re-spawning.
  45. Richmans Club Alcohol Vendors now have a very special and expensive offering.
  46. Drug Usage Cooldown reduced 15 seconds to 8 seconds.
  47. Removed two of the islands in the ocean.
  48. Navy Ships are now larger
  49. Every 20 Pirate Ship kills a Massive Kaiju spawns in the ocean, if the Navy kills it they receive $12,000, but beware losing your expensive ships, a fleet may be needed.
  50. Area 52 now gets $40 per zombie kill up from $25
  51. Army/Navy and Airforce now receive $10 job bonus for each zombie they kill, and $100 per alien killed, theres also a bonus for those job holders if they kill the alien queen.
  52. Alien Ships have new models, Royal Fighter/Heavy Cruiser/Heavy Fighter removed, there is only 3 classifications of alien ship now.
  53. Hovercraft has a new model, double the armor and its price reduced slightly.
  54. All Tanks now have passive damage reduction
  55. All Normal Tanks (not purifier or ezco) now have passive short-range attacks, depleted uranium rounds, and a AoE Cleave that fixes the intended splash damage.
  56. Samurai Item now requires you to challenge a Samurai in the Dojo, Fight a Samurai that spawns, and defeat it in order to spawn a Samurai Slave.
  57. The Alien Invasion now has two phases, the first phase is now a air/ship invasion, when the mothership is destroyed the ground invasion begins.
  58. Aliens and Alien Queen Buffed, aliens can now attack air units and will now act more similarly to zombies.
  59. Aliens now have a parasite ability, if it kills a unit that is infected it will create a face hugger, if that face hugger kills anything it will spawn a full Alien from its body.
  60. Scientist Job can now build alien ships directly once the alien ships have been researched.
  61. Army Humvee's are now much cheaper, but take much longer to build, cost 3 food instead of 1.
  62. Airforce has two new aircraft including a osprey which takes a long time to train and a powerful aircraft that is locked behind scientist research, other aircraft units rebalanced, the cobra no longer has a ground attack.
  63. Airforce now gets $250 per aircraft killed, and Alien/Hybrid flying unit kills now reward $850 per kill, also starts with an additional anti-air unit.
  64. The navy gets a similar copy of the army's spec ops soldier, called the Navy Seal, very slightly stronger but takes WAY longer to train and costs WAY more, because the navy does not specialize in ground troops.
  65. Scientist now receives a large sum of gold for a particular research.
  66. Alien Hydralisk form has a new passive ability that replaces the spiked carapace placeholder, all aliens now have passive spiked carapace as a bonus passive.
  67. Alien Heros have had their base stats buffed, ability re-balanced and now have additional levels to learn.

Need some fixes.

Classic models are missing

Starting heroes don't have models
Slime boss doesn't have a model
Spitter zombies don't have models
the guy who sells weapons in richman's club has no model. Therefore, you can't buy the axe or red crystal sword.

Suggestions:
Buff terrorist by:
Kill any town unit, get 50 bucks (or more if "combatant" unit). So vehicles, citizens, soldiers, anything. The more things to kill the faster the money will be.
Buff explosion damage for suicide bomber to like, 500 or more so they're worth it. Maybe add upgrades so when people upgrade health, explosions can scale. Definitely should start at 500 so a $200 unit is worth the cost of bringing down another $200+ unit
Buff range of RPG from 1050 to like, 1500 or 2000. That way you could use the RPGs, attack ground in someone's base, and kill their units like that lol
Make nuke stronger. It can't even kill some units lol. There was an Area 52 unit with 800 hp and it had 200-300 hp left from a nuke that cost 8k. Not worth it.

Buff Navy by:
Adding more pirates. More pirates = more money but also like, only source of money. Navy doesn't have much of a chance of getting money or recupping losses for ships.
6.6.1 released with fixes to all of the reported missing models, if you find any more please report them asap.

Greetings! Me again. Well I have some good news and bad news for you. Good news, the new update fixed the problems with the Unholy Teacher and the Holy Priest like a well oiled machine. Bad news that I only just discovered on my last playthrough, the playable Vampire wasn't so fortunate because the same problems with the Priest persisted with the Vampire and I tried both commands and they didn't work and my settings were the same playing on Reforged but set to Classic. Sorry to have to break this to you and give you more work but I figured you wanted to know if you didn't already. So sorry for the inconvenience but I just wanted to let you know so you can iron out another bug for the next release.

Greetings! Me again. Well I have some good news and bad news for you. Good news, the new update fixed the problems with the Unholy Teacher and the Holy Priest like a well oiled machine. Bad news that I only just discovered on my last playthrough, the playable Vampire wasn't so fortunate because the same problems with the Priest persisted with the Vampire and I tried both commands and they didn't work and my settings were the same playing on Reforged but set to Classic. Sorry to have to break this to you and give you more work but I figured you wanted to know if you didn't already. So sorry for the inconvenience but I just wanted to let you know so you can iron out another bug for the next release.
thanks, i changed so many models in 6.6, blizzard is not being responsible by not separating these models into a new category

Very nice. I like the changes you made with terrorist compared to 6.5.2. The gold for hero kills and increased gold for unit kills makes terrorist viable. I haven't played much else but 6.5.2 because the people I play with usually use the exploit where you can make things like power armor without spending any gold. Also they like to use things like the oil job to achieve that goal. I hope 6.6.2 can get into the public's eye. The people I play with usually are the ones hosting ascension in the first place.

Hello! Im rather confused with how samurai is supposed to work. It tells me i need blighted ground for the goldmine and i dont exactly know how to get blighted ground. Im playing on 6.5.2.

I just played 6.6.2 with some others and it worked well. No one had much trouble not using item recipes. Though, item recipes are now not really used as far as I know. Still, all is well. The earth golem's texture did go away eventually though. It become a mere shadow instead of the golem texture meant for the boss. It's been a long while since this game's been relevant to the loap circle. It's mostly been about loap 3 these days. Still, old and gold. Glad to have played it. My other buddies who I used to play with aren't playing very much any more.

It's a new, currently developed map that's being posted on the loap discord I'm on. It's probably one of the three loap-like maps that has an AI crime system. Updates are being added quite often and the map creator's friends play it regularly.

So it's hosted and talked about in a populated place, it's being developed, and his friends play it a lot. We used to play ascension a lot but for some reason the people who were playing it stopped talking in the discord. I might ask them about it. They still like 6.5.2 so it's not really a version thing.

It turns out the golem's model isn't the only one that's missing. The trees and one of the forest bosses, not mutantus (or w/e he's called), are missing their textures.

... Ill work on releasing another patch quicker, I actually just finished a bounty and warrant system I have been thinking about for a long time, now its just adding more stuff to that system
The Trees? I found golem of earth, patient zero boss and the mutated dogs are all invisible, just fixed those.

Lovely work. If you're going to fix anything, I highly suggest the pathing in the hospital. It's nigh impossible to just click inside of it and have your heroes or units go in efficiently. I've had my hero come in from the side and go from the side when I'm pretty sure it's more efficient to go out the front. Also, the left side of the hospital's pathing is kind of jank. I don't think it's a preferred way of entering the hospital. That is unless it's just meant for the car. Then I guess I was confused.

Speaking of the hospital, I think if your pet is in it, it doesn't turn invulnerable. It's been like that for a while IIRC.

And finally, I keep having my bank notes stolen from people when I'm thief or banker. Can you make it if someone isn't those two, it drops immediately or have it so they can actually steal it? So either add functionality to this action or remove functionality. I just had someone who was banker leave the job and take the notes when I myself needed the notes.

Do you have any ideas on how we can end wars between factions? Say you have mafia and police fighting. Technically, if they keep fighting, they'll never actually win or lose if someone gets the upper hand (unless you're mafia lol). Since police have towers protecting the inside, you can't spawn kill and force a surrender, but if police get the upper hand, they can spawn kill mafia or druggy units easily. Police can't be spawn killed and could just amass units from the inside before attacking again. Wars never really end, but they kind of slow down and become boring.

It was just a thought I had when someone went police and we were fighting. It actually never got to that point because he RQ'd before we could really fight.

One issue is police are kinda the odd man out, mafia and cartel have no real reason to fight atm, both have reason to gang up on the police.

Most people go mafia for their air units and people go cartel because they want to beef up their heroes with drugs (lol). I think loap gold 3 gives money for arresting heroes. I've been arrested and brutalized in that game for very minor offenses. The difference between the two games, though, is that police gets much more tame in the later game until it no longer becomes a threat. Most people won't bother with police since it's an auto-income kind of job versus other jobs that give immediate income. I hate item crafting with a passion and have always hated the item crafting. I think adding non-automatic income to the police would give new life to it like it has to terrorist. I'd take care with shrinking anti-air to the germ area. It could make it possible to camp germs with air then. It actually might be possible now from the bottom of the hospital, but people usually don't get air units as hospital. It's probably possible to camp germs with units if you have a helicopter giving sight to the germ area and putting units below the spawn point out of the hospital. Will test. What people do is get their pets to kill the germs/graveyard ghosts in later game. I don't see it very often and it's probably not worth it by then though. By the time you get the items for pets, you'll not need money in the first place.

Edit: Just realized pet unit kills are capped at 15 like unit kills. Also, I forgot people can still put towers in the germ area. It really doesn't matter if people spawn kill the germs with units. On another note, I did find a way to make pets useful to kill germs in the early game.

Yeah, units can be used to farm germs and graveyard, that's why I made the prize substantially lower for non-hero units killing them :ogre_datass:
Pets are useful for that, assuming you don't let them get killed.

I made item crafting as a alternate way to get good items other than just spending the entire game in the forest, not really as a required thing, just like the pve arena.

I think ill probably end up releasing the new warrant system half finished, the bounty system is finished but theres so many things to add to the warrant system.
I'd also like to throw in a enhanced police system, thinking up how i could do that without making units blatantly spawn in front of you.

Okay Daethz, I just beat the hardest boss, the Phoenix boss, with just units. I think I'll end this thing when I beat Death with units only. There's no topping that. No hero either by the way. I've killed all the bosses with units only.

Suggestions:

In the area 52 job...
-Purified trooper costs one more food than heavy purified trooper. Purified trooper costs 6 food, heavy purified trooper costs 7 food.
Gang airpad and garage have the same hotkey (G).
-Mind controlled zombies don't infect villagers or even creeps. Is that intentional? It's probably impossible to expand the horde without players but it might also be better to limit that since there's a hard limit on food in this game. However, Z-tank DOES work on villagers.
-If you spawn in the Z-tank first, it'll get stuck in the garage. Any other tanks after that do not get stuck, but you lose 15 food because that tank can't get out of the garage. It's stuck in the building that makes it.



-Gang sharpshooter, supplier, and drug storage have the same hotkey (S)

-I was playing singleplayer for testing purposes. It didn't put the zombie killer building on the street corners. It's the one where you can buy the zombie killer item, the zombie killer marine, and zombie killer robot from. It also never spawned Nemesis when I finished all of the upgrades, even after a lot of time had gone by.

-Towers are just not worth it. lol. Probably just do nothing with that. Would be nice to be able to put anti-zombie towers on each corner though without huge expense.

Have you considered making more food available or lowering food requirements on some units? Luckily some units use no food so they can be used as go-to soldiers. I really only have problems when playing in weird ways though. I just tried to kill the mother earth boss with the gangster purifiers (6 food each, 700) and I also have to watch food when using air to kill some other bosses. Air is actually still very good against bosses since spells don't hit them.

Still working on death btw. Mother Earth was hard enough with her constant healing. Units don't really automatically attack the tree she spawns to heal automatically.

Edit: Oh, and consider mapping all spells to Q,W,E,R, etc.? Imo it'd make using spells a lot better.

I don't want killing forest enemy's to spawn zombie hordes, but will look/fix infecting regular civilians (passive and town units)

Hotkeys are one thing I haven't really optimized, as im not sure what people want.
QWER might work, but then I ask myself is it possible anyone has hotkeyed WASD to work in wc3, Ill look into tightening up the spell hotkeys to being as close to WASD as possible though.

Alright a few more that might help you when optimizing hotkeys.

Samurai training grounds and dojo have the same hotkey (S)
Samurai master and beserkers have the same hotkey (S)

And finally, mafia swordsman unit portrait is just a green box. This is the box you click when you're training it.
Also just in case, golem is invis and somehow trees become invisible. They don't start invis but they for some reason just become invisible.

Prob gonna stop playing for a while. I'm burnt out.

I was requested to host loap ascension. I was doing battle with a guy over a few factions, mainly area 52 and terrorists. As terrorists, the same criticism applies with police. Since the towers can reach most units in the base, save for the units at the way back at the base, right next to the spawner, it's impossible to end a war between the army and terrorists. Terrorists have the sapper unit which could also prevent spawn camping or ending wars. I've had a few of those guys destroy about a group of my units so they're very useful. I think terrorists are actually better than army if they have those sappers. I haven't tried the tanks though, so that's still up for debate.

Also, since this was 6.5.2 and not 6.6.2, terrorists were nerfed and I still had a hard time with them. I think terrorists by this time can have much more income than army does. Doing a few things to all tanks in general too.

Will prob give that a look with a friend when it comes out. I assume the same thing's going to happen. Army is going to get killed by the sapper. Sapper obviously gets useless with health upgrades. The battles never really last that long since people will leave when the killing dies down. It usually happens when the armies aren't well equipped and upgrades need to happen. My opponent left because I stopped attacking. In reality, I was maxing my infantry upgrades (not unit upgrades). I probably should've gone with unit upgrades too. He probably would have won if he kept attacking me at the gym with sappers and his terrorist troops, but then, I would've probably went and gotten the cow hero and demolished his army with that. In the end, I think the battle would be very dynamic if both people were using all methods of income earning plus active warring. So many outcomes that make terrorist vs army interesting.

Ha, too bad I'd hate it though. There's no way in hell I could beat someone at this. I suck at RTS games and management.

Alright, 6.7 released.
Largest patch in a long time, the biggest content addition id say would be the completely renewed alien invasion event, check it out, it has two phases now, the first phase is alien aircraft the second is the aliens setting up teleporters and commencing a ground invasion.

Tell me if you prefer the new camera or the old camera system better please! there does appear to be a bug in it, I caused it once, but tried several more times and couldn't get it to happen again.
And if you see any bugs with the bounty/warrant system please tell me asap and preferably how to recreate the issue as I have only been able to test it solo.

And as always report any bugs asap please, so I can patch them out.

You have to be a specific hero with a specific endgame item and kill the altar with that hero while the soul rod is placed, the rocks around the altar are a subtle reminder of the hero you want.
By the way, what other ability's would people like to see added to the ascended hero?
At that point in the game the basic attack is so strong that damage abilitys are somewhat redundant.

-The text for starting the thief job incorrect spells thief as "theif"
-Governor can pick up bank notes. I quit thief job and could pick up bank notes. Also they were still in my inventory when I left it with the notes in. In fact, maybe they should just respawn if that happens or something.
-Police job also assigns the player as a garbageman as well.
-Police keeps northern station after resigning
-I think it was intended that the disgusting egg was targetable but since it's a ward, no one can target it. So the spider boss next to the bank is way harder -than it is. The spider boss will regen health and you can't kill the ward to stop it, unlike the mother nature boss
-if you're assassin and kill yourself, the bounty message still appears despite everything else working.
-assassin leave message should just be two separate sentences. That or a ; can be used since the second part of the sentence can be a sentence in itself.
-What does purifier ammunition do? It doesn't allow regular gangsters to stop zombies from re-animating so I don't really know what it does.

Did aliens. Some ships came by and I destroyed them. I didn't really stick around to see what else would happen.

-Governor can pick up bank notes. I quit thief job and could pick up bank notes. Also they were still in my inventory when I left it with the notes in. In fact, maybe they should just respawn if that happens or something.

-I think it was intended that the disgusting egg was targetable but since it's a ward, no one can target it. So the spider boss next to the bank is way harder -than it is. The spider boss will regen health and you can't kill the ward to stop it, unlike the mother nature boss
-if you're assassin and kill yourself, the bounty message still appears despite everything else working.
-assassin leave message should just be two separate sentences. That or a ; can be used since the second part of the sentence can be a sentence in itself.
-What does purifier ammunition do? It doesn't allow regular gangsters to stop zombies from re-animating so I don't really know what it does.

Did aliens. Some ships came by and I destroyed them. I didn't really stick around to see what else would happen.

Added a poll for the camera system at the bottom of the header above, after you have played 6.7x and have experienced the new camera system please vote for which one you prefer, the new one with the extra functions and overlay, or the old simple command based one.

This game is getting better and better. I'm running out of suggestions. Btw, assassin is so exploitable with the new bounty system. I'm not sure how you'll address that. Assassin is actually a really good job as is, but no one actually uses it. I'm game for buffs if you think it's needed though.

I voted for the latest camera because I like how you can scroll with the second mouse button and your zoom won't get back to defaults. Also the angle option is pretty good too. It still reminds me of FSK's loap gold 3, which is pretty funny. If you add a few more things, loap gold 3 and this one will have a lot of similar features. All you need is AI cops lol.

Btw, for future reference, when stealing from the bank as a thief and you get caught by the cameras, does it still award you money? I would assume so but I'm still very skeptical and I never checked.

Yes, you still get money for robbing the bank, nothing stops that part, just a chance for warrants.

By exploitable you mean it rewards too much? I was wondering if the 300% was too high, but It's high to really really encourage pvp, I may lower it to 250% atleast.

Edit: just changed up police a little, lots of street cops around the map that remain in towns control the entire game, all nearby cops will attack you if you attack one of them, and they have a percentage chance to call for backup which will spawn in the vicinity and attack the attacker.
And they will respawn just like peasants do.
Also going to make it so town gets upgrades every 5 minutes like players do so those street cops get stronger over time.

By exploitable I mean a friend can kill their buddy who puts a warrant out for themselves or kill their friend after they put a bounty on themselves and then infinite money. I did that as a test actually. It took me a few minutes to get 12k - which isn't actually the best way to get money - but if you have a bounty of 10k, your killer will get 30k. I could see this as a very easy way of getting money that isn't creative in the slightest.

There are other ways to get money that take a bit of creativity to think but anyone could figure this one out.

Also sad that you can genocide the entire city and get it down to zero food but happy police are buffed I guess? No one actually attacks the NPC police but it'll add a bit more flavor to the game. BTW the least amount of food I got the town to is about 180 food. That was a grind.

I made it a little bit more difficult, assassin job holder can't purchase bounty's anymore, but they could theoretically quit the job, go buy a bounty, and then retake the job.
I also sliced the tiny auto income in half

At the very least it wont be as easy anymore.
-Going to keep it at 300%, it's a integer so i have to go up in intervals of 100%

Also going to make it so you cant buy a bounty on yourself

Great map, but Mutatos' "Mutated Slice" ability crashes the game (tested only on classical graphics). Tried it twice.
weird i just tried every level of the ability on both classic and reforged and didn't crash
Did you have any specific item or use it on any specific unit each time it crashed?

It's a modified shadow strike, I had decay power and decay damage set to zero, but I just went ahead and changed the spell to use those because It's probably the cause, spell will deal more damage now but have a longer cooldown, but hopefully this should fix any crash.

For these things, I have no idea if you could fix it but I wanted to make sure you knew since it's the most complained about things about this game.

Non-related, just decided to time some money making techniques and you can get 17k in 2 minutes 30 seconds if you know enough stuff or 10k in about a minute if you do a certain job lol. All at the start if it tickles some people's interest. Wondering how you feel about that kind of stuff personally.

Glad you're getting rid of the air blockers. For the clicking bug, I'm extremely surprised no one's complained about it. Honestly, I'm glad to have included it in the last post. Wow.

I'm glad samurai units respawn, so that takes care of that.

The cooldown on the assassin job + assassins not being able to put up bounties would work for players not co-operating and it would mean three players instead of two are needed. I think this is a good step in the right direction. Also, there's a de-selection bug for vendors + the clicking bug. They might be the same bug or something, I dunno. They're both solved by clicking a closed door.

I'll find more hotkey problems when I find them.

I actually was wondering what you thought about those money making opportunities. I'm pretty much the only person who uses them for some reason. There are a lot of experienced people though, so some people could use those, but as far as I know, I'm really the only person whose experimented with money making. I have tons of ways to make a lot of money and most people, regardless of job, can find a few ways to make great money outside their jobs. The only broken way to earn money would be the assassin job right now. I'm in favor of these money makers because they all tend to be similar.

Also casino is the worst probably lol. Casino could still do all the money making schemes I'm thinking of or get a different job. In the end, if you get your hero or army strong enough, boss killing becomes the most profitable way of getting money. It's probably possible to optimize it in 30 minutes for most money making bosses but I like to go the full mile at one hour if I'm focusing on my hero. Yes, there are some bosses that are better for making money than others. Also, there are other bosses that you can kill from the get go like the vampire boss. It's popular to go army then spawn kill the vampire boss. It's still not as fast as the methods I choose to use though. There are a bunch of methods where you can get 10-15k every two minutes without boss killing. They're different jobs too, so no competition.

E: Just played a game and d/ced after the aliens came out. Might wanna investigate that. Also there were zombies but that never d/cs anyone.

Which is weird, the new system is actually less stressful than the old one, I used to lag when it triggered, now I don't.

I just Added small waits between each spawn in the alien invasion, each spawn generates a random point, that point is used and immediately cleaned and replaced, perhaps without any kind of wait it caused issues? shrug.
-I have tested the invasion dozens of times on single player without issue, and I can't find anything that would cause a crash, so if this does not fix it ill inquire on the forums.

Released 6.72, im hoping the switch from computer based waits to game time based waits helps the clicking bug, my only other suspicion would be the taxi system when it de-selects your hero could be leaking into other peoples stuff somehow?

I have been looking into the impeach, seems what I used can also incorrectly count computer players, I believe I just fixed that for 6.73 but I'm also adding in a simple command for red "-active" which will display how many players the impeach system thinks are active.

But I went on a leak hunting expedition and believe I have fixed what will amount to several hundred variable leaks over time in a normal game session, so that should help stability, simple things like a point leaking every time someone repicked a hero or any time a boss cast a spell on a location instead of a unit.

The mothership is in the park, north of the hospital.

I made a bunch of improvements to the invasion code for 6.73, actually I cut it in half so it should be less stressful to run now.
Ill release it sometime this weekend, probably late sat or sunday.

you could try to finish the fisher job and it would also be great if your project (Loap Ascension) had a discord server
Hmm, intended fishing to be more of a bonus way to make gold instead of a job, because honestly it would make for a kinda boring job.
As for a discord server.. idk, dunno if I really want to try to moderate that, would make sense if I ever get around to learning how to code other games and make mods and my own standalone games like I have always wanted to.

6.73 is released, I spent a lot of time drifting through systems looking for leaks and fixing them, cut alien invasion code in half and fixed some wonky stuff i accidentally left in it, so hopefully that helps.

Considering disabling peasant and town police respawns during the invasion, all of those deaths and all of those respawns so quickly I noticed over 15 minutes of not clearing out any aliens the game jumped up an additional ~100mb in ram usage.
-Which is probably from all of the new peasants and police being killed and new ones respawned rapidly.
It happens during zombies too, but respawning peasants really helps with zombie invasion immersion, less so with aliens.

Another small release 6.74, I finished the overhaul of basic units around the map, sea units, ezco units and gang units overhauled rather substantially. Also addressed the peasant/cop respawn situation from my prior post, I simply doubled their respawn times during a alien invasion.

Edit a few days later: Released 6.75, I bumped the maximum hero level up from 100 to 1000, strengthening your hero is practically neverending now.
