This is more like what the rest of my 12-player FFA maps were supposed to be like. One of the complaints I got on
Splatter was that people who spawned on the 'inside' were very likely to get trampled early. This map circumvents that. The point of Splatter (and the rest of my 12-player maps) was supposed to be that there are four mini-FFA games played at the same time, and the winner of each emerges (supposedly with high-power heros and units) to fight a four-player FFA. That intended effect is a lot more likely to occur on this map, because each set of three is isolated by guarded waygates. I would have made this sooner, but was unaware of the "add border" button. Hooray for that..
Features:
Maxed out on neutral buildings. Rather than list the numbers of each, I'll just say it lacks fountains of mana, a merc camp, and a dragon roost. Has everything else.
Additionally, the north/south-most areas have a very heavy red creep camp. It's far out of the way and is meant for late-game raiding. The drops are lucrative, as one might expect.

At some point I got sick of doing the tiling, but it 'looks' acceptable to me anyway. The doodad "Bones" was used often because they are the one doodad that blocks building but not pathing, which allowed me to render the edges of cliffs unbuildable around the waygates.
Updates:
fixed a boundary issue where flying units could cross over the void

expanded and centered waygate regions in an attempt to fix a reported issue of units not transporting properly.
