Recently I've been using the Galaxy Map Editor and have a few questions that I have not been able to answer in research.

I'm looking for a way to lay down a straight path of a single texture.

I've been unable to find a way to do this exactly. I was wondering if there are any tools or tricks I would be able to use which would allow me to create a straight line on the map's terrain with a texture.

Another question I have related to my first question is regarding the existence of automated terrain placement.
What I mean by that is: "Is there a system in place that would allow me to type multiple coordinates and then have terrain appear" And I don't mean in game, I mean in the actual editor. I find the terrain tool imprecise and I'm just looking for a good method for precisely placing down terrain and textures, and cliffs, and water, and lava, etc.
