For those who are interested in unused materials, the map should still hold the Chromium Tank which is the one-shot kill tank everyone sees in one in the earlier trailers. The tank and all related codes should still be accessible via World Editor.

Managed to beat a 3v1 Last Revolt game in both Normal and Insane. I'll try to upload it once I can. The Insane one is pretty tricky though, so it would be a long recording or a series of them. Never thought with a race designed to "tank" and "push" I have to execute a rush to win.

Patch 1.32 is used, though apparently this map still uses the patch 1.07 balance. There are also some issues such as Cherrybomber's Ultimate, Bounty Hunter, and Sunshield are bugged, glitchy animation for towers from Architect ability, and also the Chromium Blast SFX. These already pointed in the contest, but a QoL update would be in order now that I find these are quite the hindrance. Some tooltips in the caster section still refers to old spells before the final contest entry version.

With what work do you consider this similar to?

The only work from my own that can qualify for comparison based on this work's release date is Night Empire. Phoenix Flames, Sankt Empire, and The Magic Kingdom does not qualify to be compared with this work as 'previous works', because those three actually use Last Revolt as point of reference (Phoenix Flames' and The Magic Kingdom's mapwide abilities are improvement from this work). Last Revolt has a lot of things that can be considered unique when it was released (switchable aura support unit like the Chromium Blossom, positional advantage bonus units like Striker, artillery-like hero, mapwide abilities like Reprocessor, and so on).

You can keep the 2 star. That rating is fine for me because that is your right to rate and you believe it is a 2 star experience.

What offended me is the fact that I feel the rating comes from a terribly misguided perception this work is a later work than the others you also rated today, especially I noticed you rate this after my other custom races works. So, I demanded an answer on your reasoning in my previous post.

You don't need to please me with a 5 star rating, because this is a 4-star work at best (otherwise it would have won the competition it participates).

The problem is the reason of the rating, not the rating itself. This is because me and @Cherrymage cannot work on reasonings that contradicts reality. Had this exact same reasoning is your reason for the rating you put on Phoenix Flames, I won't get this agitated.

However, if you want to drop this discussion, I don't mind about it. You can choose whatever rating you want for this work, just that I ask to think the reason properly.
