Lands of Departure is a fantasy life based game. You take place in a world were nearly everything is possible.
You are a person which wants to be someone in this world, to build up his own buisness. So there are many ways
to achieve your goals. Possibilities to earn money; there are many ways like become a hunter, fisher, tailor or
what ever the world is offering to you. There are also some exotic jobs to master like the adventurer or wizard
and even a teacher.
Not only the boring everyday schedule is waiting for you. There are also many many secrets to find out!

The Voices of this world are calling you ... and they hope you will join this fantastic realm of nearly unlimited
possibilities and you get your load of fun. :)

Features


This map contains alot of features that are propably known or even new and never used to be found in a map before.
This features listed will eventually change and/or expand to make the map even more realistic.

- Full Weather- + Season-System;
Affecting the growing plants. Each Season will has other plants/animals and w/e.
- Job-System;
Multi-Jobbing is possible. Gives Expirience equal to the niveau of the job-requirement.
- Merchant-System;
Determites the prices of goods. Bonus for buying/selling goods at different regions. Every seasons affects the market.
- Character-Creation-Benifit-System;
Every time you start a new game, every players character gets some dis- and/or advantages. Allegics, immunity, magical might/weakness, curses, insanity ... w/e! Every character is unique!
- Harvest/Gathering-System;
The amount of your gathering skill is equal to your dextirity. You can get more than just one piece of your gathering target.
- Farming-System;
Watering plants will be necessary to keep them alive. Every plant got dereg. TO water them you will need the fitting tools.
- Mining-System;
Determited by your endurace. More endurance = more mined stuff.
- Crafting/Creating-System;
There are more ways to craft goods. You can use alchemy or cook. Also smithing and tailoring are a aspect of crafting/creating goods.
- Welthyness-System;
Your character can be ill and get damage because of illness (or even die because of some). Your immunity against plagues and illnes is determited by endurance and other attributes.


Gameplay


You start as a simple person, with a little money. You have to build up your own buisness. Get a job, earn money, marry a nice person, do some half-time work, find out the secrets that the world hides from humanity.

If you ask how to get money?
Do some halt-time work to get money and build up your own business. Learn a job and do what ever needed for it.

Author's notes


I hope I could present my project good enough and I also hope you like this kind of ideas for my map. :)

I want to add that the map is at a zero-state ... only the planning is ready. No Terrain, no Models, nothing. But the thread will be updated as much as something essencial changes.
