The beautifuly city of Tor.
Have being with peace with creatures for over 417 years.
But there was a day when the creatures who are called Demons wanted to take over the city of Tor.

Humans task is to defend the city of Tor from the Daemonic force. They can win by killing the Demon King what is the colour Brown.
Demons task
Is to strike at the Humans gate as long as they stay there!
Their aim is to kill the Human King who are purple.

PS! YOU CANNOT REVIVE YOUR HERO SO DONT LOSE IT!

[rainbow]Update[/rainbow]

-Added more units for the Daemonic force.
-Added 3 gold mines & 1 harvester for each Daemonic force.
-Cutted down the timer of gold incomming.
-Added commands for purple.
-Added a spawning spot for brown. They will attack the city automaticly at a point.
-Cutted down a lot of MB of the map.
-Added 1 stone of health and 1 free reviving for all.
-Cutted down the prices for humans. (That means that units are cheaper!)

[rainbow]Update 2[/rainbow]

-Maked the Teams for both sides more balanced.
-Added an Shipyard where the Lumber Jacks are.
-Improved the terrain on the Daeomic side a bit.
-Maked an shop for each Side.
-Reduced the Spawn of the Infernals for the Daemonic force. Added a Speaker that says that they will Spawn in their village in XX seconds.
-Updated the Quest/Helping to play.

[rainbow]Update 3[/rainbow]

-Reseted the Levels for all Heros on the map to 1 the kings got a bit higher.
-Added an Forge for each team. Means they can now upgrade their units!
-Added an Guide for the beginners in the Quest menu.
-Added more things in the Quest menu.
-Added a Zoom system for each player.
-Reworked some places on the map.
-Removed the xp drops.

"The Bridge only passing through the human team is kinda small, this makes the invading team hard to push I suggest you place a bigger bridge or just a cliff would do, also both forces has no any proper research value for there units, give such research to make the game more appealing."

Ok....

Your map exceeds the multiplayer limit of 8MB. You cannot play this in multiplayer unless you
cut down on filesize. You do this by compressing all the junk in your map. Did you know you have
a massive 476KB skin for an Illidan? Your map preview image is 6MB!!!!!!! Yes 6MB!! Compress,
compress, compress!!

Your map also has memory leaks. Memory leaks cause your game to lag for players. Your map
will not start laggy, but the lag will accumulate over time and eventually become unbearable.

Green Icons. Green icons means the icon is missing. For every custom icon you have, you need
a DISBTN version of that icon.

Then your map looks boring (mainly outside the castle). Consider looking at some terraining tutorials.

There is an excessive use of models. I don't know why you used models for the human archers and
ghouls. The warcraft 3 ones are just fine. It just makes your map look weird, and needlessly increases
the file size.

Almost all liked using customed models why? BECAUSE THEY ARE TIRED TO USE THE SAME TING!
& my terrain its good enough... i asked enough people to review a bit of my map.
no ones complains over the terain or models.
But i dont know why the custom icons are being ''green'' coloured.. I imported everything about that icon.

You have memory leaks all through your triggering. Its bad triggering and should be fixed. "Not Big" lag. Wouldn't it be better if there was no lag?

Dude. Read my post in the other thing. I explained how to cut down on file size...

That doesn't mean its good. The castle looks great man, but outside, its pretty poor. Just look into some terraining tutorials.

Here. I have compressed all of the skins and your preview image for you. Deleat the old ones, and import my new ones. You know, when everybody is in the lobby downloading your game. It must take a while. If you compress your map down, you won't have to wait as long for people to download. They will download much faster.

This is the path of one of your icons:

war3mapImported\BTNChaosSpiritGateway.blp

It should be:

BTNChaosSpiritGateway.blp

Now, your disabled version says this:

war3mapImported\DISBTNChaosSpiritGateway.blp

It should be:

ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\DISBTNChaosSpiritGateway.blp

Got it? No more green icon.

Edit: I changed the compressed files. The Illidan file cannot be compressed sorry. Seems corrupted. Just leave the Illidan skin alone.

I knows it aint the best terrain work outside the caslte. But thats kinda the point. It shouldn't be like epic terrain outside. It is a mountain where the demons stay on.

The ratings are weighted depending on what type of map it is. What I mean by weighted is that I give a possible of 50/50 but if they only add up to 25/50 it doesn’t mean that your final rating is a 2/5
I weigh the fields differently. For instance Gameplay is a lot more important than spells.
TRIGGERS
  • You have a lot of location leaks you should fix.
  • Anything with center of / position of / offset / player start location / random point leaks.

  • I understand that you don’t want to have to much detail there but it should have some trees / different types of terrain to break up the all grass theme it has going there.

  • In a survival game I understand losing your hero after he dies but you should be able to buy potions and Ankhs to give it a little more of an edge.
  • You should work more on balancing everything. The archers on the human side are very strong in the beginning. They took about 2 shots each to kill the archers that the demons had.
  • It wasn’t fun because it needs major balancing.

lets start with:
SPELLS.
I would put it in ofcourse! But i tryed do it like hundred times before.
I have asked people how to do it but its something that wouldn't work.
But if i can get a help from some one to do it for me, i would be glad for it!
Second:
TERRAIN.
I appreciate that my castle terain is good. Many in bnet have also said it.
The terrain of demons i aint sure what to say but...
Its a Mountain where the demons are setting camp.
Third:
GAME MESSAGES.
Yes i can work on that, no problem :)
Fourth:
CINEMATICS.
You said its optional if i gonna have that.
NO i dont gonna have cinematics. I dont know how to make it either.
But that might commes in the future.
Fifth:
ARTWORK.
The artwork you mean by?
And the green icon on when a (HERO) dies will i fix.

QUEST.
Yes im gonna work with that.
Seventh:
GAMEPLAY.
I can change the start level of some Hero's. But the kings will therefor have a bit higher level.

Yes im already started with the balancing of units.
And ok i will balance it more.
FINAL RATING.
Im like agreed and disagreed with that.
Because i dont gonna have cinematics in the first, so that might commes in the future and i got a 1/5 of it....
Gameplay are im disagreed with. A lot of players on bnet when i played it, says its a good gameplay map. Not all says it but some of em do. But back to balancing yes i will fix that.
 
It's very hard to read the way you have it. Try some spaces so i can see what I'm reading.

Spells
When you are able to i will increase that rating.

Terrain
Yes but when you think about demons you don't think of something perfectly small without dead bodies or anything like that.

Cinematics
There are plenty of tutorials on here. It's just nice IMO to see a cinematic.

Artwork
Artwork means anything dealing with modified special effects buildings / models / anything else like that.

Gameplay
I don't think you should've tried to get it approved unless it is close to being balanced.
It just doesn't make for a fun game.
Also if you have a shop for humans and not demons that is a very unfair advantage.

Final rating
If a game isn't close to being balanced it can't be good gameplay unless you like destroying everything with one hit.

Dear deathismyfriend.

I totaly agreed with the most of what your telling, the green icons after death should totaly be fixed! The balancing on the team im a bit agreed with but Archers if you think of archers, they dont got any good armor [defence] but it should use some balance. Thought its a defence map and one team needs to be a bit stronger than the other.
