Hi!

I'd be very happy if someone could make a system in GUI for my hero arena map I'm developing for 2 years now.
(coming soon on Map development)
This is a crucial system for my project.

For example, lets say we have x hero and y hero with the same movement speed.X is chasing y :ogre_love::fp::ogre_rage:,
while fallowing it as closely as it is possible.
The system I want is to allow x to attack y while moving, also casting some instant spells but not falling behind.

It should be something like a loop when the hero attacks, or casts an instant spell and moving the unit like if its chasing its target with the its current movement speed.
I know the units will "slide" while they play the attack, or cast animation
but in this case it not matters.

Please. please someone help me with this deed!!
Please ask if you have some questions!

I don't understand the chasing scene you're making. The guy is chasing him like fggt and you want the one behind to attack him. Why not just put some spell effects in it and animations from the attacker. Also, make the attacker a bit faster so he doesn't fall behind. Did I got it right?

Nonono, triggering every attacks and stuff is just too complicated. And lol no way i make one hero faster in a hero arena because there is not "chasing unit" and "prey unit",
it was just an example. The point is to attack, cast instant spells while moving with a constant speed.

complicated indeed.

To be honest I'd just find another solution that makes up for it. Like when you deal damage to an enemy your movement speed increase with 15% for 1 seconds. This way you will make up for the time it takes to cast a spell (if it hits, that's the good part) or land a auto attack.

Yep, it seems nearly impossible but i think i got the solution.
I'll try to create a dummy unit in point of the hero with the same movement speed and give an order chase the target.
While moving the Hero to the dummies location with a loop.
It seems feasible, I gonna try it.

Opinion?
