Jass newgen 5e and/or 5d problem/error

For some reason I can't use much of its terrain features like changing any tile due to "unable to start plugin" and I can't seem to find any help on that.

did you try disabling UMSWE? (UMSWE -> uncheck "Enable UMSWE")

Sounds like a dumb question, but it happened in the past, so I want to go sure:
Are you actually running newgen.exe and not worldedit.exe?

Sadly its newgen.exe, that'd be a wonderful fix though. . .
