Newgen DELETING Maps

I started using JASS Newgen yesterday after I hit the doodad limit on my map and required another patch of trees. It was awesome, I got used to using it, and then the editor froze and crashed. When I went to open my map file it wasn't there. Not in the recycling bin. I didn't delete it.

No big deal, I wasn't very far. I started over. The same thing happened. I switched back to the normal editor, and now feel very limited. Has anybody else had this problem, and/or know any fixes?

I'm using Windows 7 with JASS Newgen Pack 5d.

ooh... The problem is windows 7 i think... The best is still XP, vista suck'd, But 7 is a bit better than vista...

Make sure you run it as administrator.
Also, NewGen makes backups, check the backups folder in your NewGen directory.

Nope, JNGP works perfectly for me. Infact I find it more stable than the normal WE as it does not crash when saving maps due to bad JASS. Never lost a map due to it.
