Is there a way to fixed corrupt map file?

It's not like I have any custom stuff in those map. Just old melee that I used to draft and kept. It's quite old. I recently pull it up and said to be corrupted. Can't be open. Liks I said above, is there a way to reverse map file in anyway to fix this problem?
 
Probably because those older maps use something that was patched, namely "conversion bug" (replaced by hashtables in 1.24b+), or it uses some kind of exploit (like virus) that can be playable on older patches (like dracol1ch's DOTA maps that requires 1.26a).

I could be wrong though.
 
Try opening the map with an MPQ editor (make a back-up first though, just in case). It may be possible to recover portions of the map and transfer those to a new map. Or you can share it here (or in a DM) and I can try to take a look.

ty, I don't think retrieve is possible, after try it out.
"Level info data missing or invalid." even after extract with MPQ editor(the file only has attribute and list, a few have conversation file, Idk if that will help). I also try with CASC it doesn't work either. Anyway thanks for helping out!

Maps don't use CASC. They still use an old MPQ format if I'm not mistaken.

In that case, it sounds like you are trying to open an older maps that were made with UMSWE/WEU, which were unsupported and outdated for over a decade at this point.

There's a simple fix regarding that matter (not sure if this method still works as of now): Tool: make WEU maps openable WE
