Is there a limit on variables?

Hi

I saw somewhere that there is a limit to how many variables can be made in a map. I heard it's pretty much impossible to hit without arrays but I'm using arrays so I thought it'd be good to know.

Just wanted to know whether I have enough space for about 25 odd heroes to have an ultimate that uses maybe 5 array variables each on average.

That's no problem at all. I don't have a number now, but don't think about it, in your normal mapping.

Waterknight I believe made some experiments with this, and his map failed to compile with like 60k globals. Even tho, it may've been JassHelper limit, instead of actual wacraft 3 limit

60k does sound about right. When trying to initialize that many it hits the op-limit and causes an internal error that causes the game to stop running.
