[Crash] i really need help with a map

the game terminates whenever i select the animal barracks or when the law blacksmith is on the build menu. i have checked every unit produced by the barracks and none of them have anything that is supposed to crash the game. please help me out because the only other alternative is to remove the animals from the map and i dont want to do that. if you find any other bugs please let me know.

Probably related to your triggers... your map has a lot of them, and I'm not familiar with it, you are - why don't you post all triggers that use those buildings? Maybe some are conflicting?

I've never heard of warcraft 3 crashing because you just edited something on the object editor, but maybe I'm wrong, who knows.

Sounds like an object editor problem. You have done something buggy that is only loaded when you select the building. When it is loaded it causes the crash.

I think tech dependencies or dependency equivalents or one of those structure only fields causes such crash (at least last time I saw a problem like this).

1. Your unit limit triggers leak and make no sense.
2. Glorifying real life terrorists in a map is a bad idea.
3. Animal Townhall 3 has a dependency equivalent still.

Well that is all I can find from a few minutes looking.

If it still crashes try removing buttons (what ever generates buttons) from the barracks until it stops crashing. The crash is likely caused by something trainable or upgradable from the barracks which gets resolved when you selected it once it is complete.

From my tests Flying Attack Sheep causes crash in the Animal Barracks.

You really need to learn about leaks as this map is chock-full of them...(Literally every trigger btw.) And you should look into optimizing your code, 1000 Triggering unit calls is bad practice.

I've never made a map with so many dependency so I'm not sure about that stuff.

ok so that is what have corrupted this time. that is a major issue with warcraft 3. things eventually corrupts. i could certainly look at the triggers to find a better way to create them. the crashes is my priority though. there is some triggers however that i didnt create and therefore dont understand. the special builder`s special abilities for example was created be tank commander and also the law income system. how can i fix the flying attack sheep without creating it from scratch.

things that originally didnt crash the game starts crashing the game for no reason despite the fact that i havent edited them. (the law blacksmith that crash the game have the exact same stats as it had when it didnt crash the game.) i still remember your threats however but if you are willing to leave that past behind i am willing to accept that. as for the problem with the map, i still need to figure out how to stop the crashes and make the law blacksmith work from the build menu again.

Anyhow, seems like I was wrong (like I said I could be). Though if there's nothing changed in the object editor, it's probably some trigger that uses those buildings "indirectly" (ex. Pick all units...). And fix your leaks! It's important, if your map is leak-riddled you won't be able to play past 5 minutes without absurd lag or crashes. Periodic triggers with points that are set every run are especially dangerous.

it was triggerhappy that threatened me long ago. those tutorials are too general and as such they are of no use to me. several triggers was as i wrote earlier created by tank commander and as such i dont understand them at all. the triggers i created myself however i will look at.

As mentioned, it's not trigger issue. It's Object Editor's.

Go to 'Animal townhall level 3 sheep only', then go to 'Techtree - Dependency Equivalents', and remove the damn thing. And all will be fine, unless of course, you did some other similar mistake somewhere else.

You can't have 'Animal townhall level 3 sheep only' which has 'Animal townhall level 3 sheep only' as its dependency equivalents. It doesn't make sense. Like an infinite loop.

I don't know how to build Law Blacksmith.
Can't be bothered to look out which is the correct builder.
Maybe next time if it's mentioned in later posts...

Nice find. However I do recall telling this to people before...
