How to give Spiked Carapace's spikes to bipedal model?

So not sure if its possible but i want to give an ability to my demon hunter thats Spiked Carapace from the crypt fiend, but i want the spikes to show up on the demon hunter model. Is it possible and if so how do you do it? :)
