How to get player's camera target (XY) without desync?

If you are familiar with vJass libraries, you could make use of Sync made by @TriggerHappy

In that same thread, he made a snippet that gets the player red's cam position.

That's seems excessive and complicated. Isn't there a simpler way? I need to get XY of player's camera and move the unit there, that's it. No easier method?
