...which come and go as he fails to implement things he wants to.

The problem right now: A functioning taunt.

Alex' idea was to add "Ward" classification to the targeted unit, thereby making the enemy player unable to control it while it's taunted. However, it turned out WE can't add Ward classification to units.

Right now I just want to know if there is any alternative.

you could add it to a no select group.
so, you have a group called no select by owner
and you have a trigger for the unit selection so player1 selects a unit player2.. that deselects the unit when the owner tries to select it, you would also have to make
so that the unit is removed.

Have you already downloaded the test map ?
And test it for yourself ?
A 0.03 second is too short for human reaction dude.
Try it.
Its not, spamming stuff works.

The best trick is just to stop all units from other orders.
Add them to a group and whenever they get an order that is NOT attack, order them to attack instead. This is impossible to avoid.

Basic WE taunt keeps the targets taunted for entire duration?

I just want a taunt that actually keeps people taunted for entire duration.

Edit: Yep, default taunt does not keep enemy taunted for entire duration if they just order the unit to stop attacking.

I don't have this spell anymore and all uploaded versions are deleted.

However, is was quite simple:
The spell added a dummy-buff to all affected targets.
The second trigger fired on ALL orders: target, point and without a target.
If the unit had the buff, disable the trigger, give the new order and reenable the trigger.
