Hi, I decided to change crushing wave so that it heals instead of damaging units as a naga healing spell. The healing part works, however changing the targets doesn't, it heals enemies. changing targets either makes it heal nothing or just enemies, I assume this is because the targets are hardcoded into the base spell. Anyway to fix this without triggers? or another spell that has the same effect as wave (line/cone aoe) that could be changed to affect allies instead of enemies? thanks in advance.

is this not possible without triggers? I know a way that might work with triggers but I'd prefer avoiding them, but the lack of responses has me guessing triggers are the only way...

Hmm.. You could try to set the damage to negative (like -200). Then just make it to be able to damage allies.

that's what I did, but the spell seems to be hardcoded to effect only enemies, changing the spells targets doesn't work. anyway I'll try the trigger or dummy idea and see if either works right.
