How to add more hotkeys?

Hi,

There are only 26 letters in the English keyboard...

is there anyway to make hotkeys with two letters, e.g.

a player rapidly pressed "t" followed by "w" to cast "Tidal Wave?"

you could perhaps have instant abilities (like berserk) and when you press it's replaced with another and after you've pressed the right combination the actual ability is added and then you

Doesn't seem very practical though :3

You can make two versions of the spell. One with a T hotkey and no cooldown and the other a W hotkey with the spell's cooldown. When the player uses the first spell, replace it with the second one and after a quarter of a second or maybe just a second, if the player haven't used the second spell, remove it immediately. If the player used the second spell, remove it only after its cooldown.

Clever, no point in having a 3rd spell and force key press like i suggested...

oh and an addition for GreeN!X's suggestion, don't write the hotkey in its description or write but make it something like: press "t" followed by "w" to activate this skill :3

There is a World Editor hack that let you use 1-0 on the keyboard, 0-9 on the Numpad, Insert, Home, Delete, End, Pg Up and Pg Down, Spacebar, Alt, Ctrl, Windows Key,and F1 through F12 on the keyboard as hotkeys.

Of course, half of these would probably not be a good idea. But it does work.

I can't remember where the tutorial is for it, I'll look for a few minutes and edit this post if I find it.

This also lets OTHER players use those hotkeys, without having to have to do this same hack.
